Overview

Have you ever heard of the "ripple effect"? Have you ever considered that one selfish, stupid decision could change your family...your community...your whole life...forever?
In this story, based on true-life events, Jake Adams discovers that his choices have unintended consequences-both for good and for evil. And through those choices, God displays how He weaves the threads of a life into a tapestry, working "all things together for good"...even selfish, stupid decisions.

"Hell's Bend is a gripping, fast-paced story with clever plot twists and some surprising outcomes that entertain and challenge both teen and adult readers." -Tim Wildmon, President, American Family Association

"In this debut novel, Angie Camp crafts a fast-paced, engaging novel with characters who illustrate the best and the worst of Christ-followers. With its surprising plot twists, engaging characters and too-real conflicts, it will keep the reader up late and challenge any serious reader to take inventory of his own faith." -Randall Murphree, Editor, AFA Journal, American Family Association

"To mourn is to know God and His deepest wounds for His Son who bore our infirmities and our sorrows. This intimate, honest, and unforgettable story of tragedy and triumph takes you on a journey, as despair is conquered and the wounded are made whole again." -Merle Temple, The Redeemed

Hells Bend is a great book conjuring the finality of our mortality and the judgement we all must face. Although it is labeled as a Christian Fiction I would suggest that the events that unfold in this book are far from fiction. Angie and Barry poured their souls into this easy to read book. The events depicted in the life of Jake in Hells Bend shows us that personal decisions can bring harsh consequences while the compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ will forgive our defiance if we will only serve Him. We also encounter the plight of the Christian battling in the ongoing war against demonic onslaughts. We even get a glimpse of the t-shirt wearing Christian that in fact seemed to deceive everybody but the one that really matters, The Lord. Hells Bend shows us what what we all need to know: Hell is real, we all will be judged, the Lord gives us free will to make our own choices while providing us a path to salvation through the Blood of Jesus Christ. Looking forward to the movie!

Great read. Really makes you stop and think about life here, the choices we make and the eternal consequences of those choices.

Hells Bend is a great, irresistible page-turner book! It is very well written and easy to read. We all have to make choices in life whether it's good/bad or right/wrong. If we choose the wrong path we will suffer the consequences of said choice. We must be believers of Christ because only He can guide our path if we let Him. This book has inspired me to always live for Him and to be a witness even in less than desirable situations. It is our duty to help lead others to know God.

Angie Camp bares her soul in her first book. This intimate, honest, and unforgettable story of tragedy and triumph takes you on a journey, as despair is conquered and the wounded are made whole again. She connects with her readers and builds a bond and a deep trust with them as the story progresses. There are many lessons artfully woven into the story, lessons that facilitate and enrich the narrative, never detracting from the storytelling. What a debut book for a new author.
