When Dauphin, prince of France responds insultingly to Henry's claim, King Henry V orders England to invade France and the two nations soon find themselves at war.

About the Author

Widely esteemed as the greatest writer in the English language, William Shakespeare (1564-1616) was an actor and theatrical producer in addition to writing plays and sonnets. Dubbed "The Bard of Avon," Shakespeare oversaw the building of the Globe Theatre in London, where a number of his plays were staged, the best-known of which include Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth. The First Folio, a printed book of 36 of his comedies, tragedies, and history plays, was published in 1623.

What can be said about Shakespeare that scholars have not written books about already. What i want to point out is this version, this addition, or this translation. I read it cover to cover, with all the annotations. What i liked and what recommend is that, read from cover to cover. You will be taken through the play. Then you will read all the modifications along with the explanations of those modification. They you will read the play again, with all the nuanced changes. Finally you will have learned more than you bargain for.

This book was great i loved it.I am eleven and it is the best book i've ever read.You've never read a book before you've read this one.

Although Shakespeare is considered the master of poets and playwrights this piece is a complete repetition of his other tradgedies that involve royalty and planned treachery. Besides being created by this author I believe it would be given not as half as much raved reviews if it's author had been different.
