I've been wanting to read Dreya and Braden's romance since they appeared in an earlier X-Ops story, and am delighted with how this story plays out! Braden has kept his eye out for Dreya since their first meeting and when he catches her on a break and enter gig, he is torn over what to do with her. Luckily, the Department of Covert Operations has their own plans for Dreya and she becomes a trainee for them, using her feline shifter talents to become one of the good guys, with Braden hot on her heels to keep her out of trouble. There is an interesting subplot involving a mental asylum that is being used as a cover for producing shifter hybrids, with colleague Trevor going undercover to determine what's happening. Once Dreya's training is complete, she and Braden end up on a mission with Trevor and there is lots of action as things get complicated! Several previous characters from earlier X-Ops books make an appearance and while we get a complete (and sexy!) romance for Dreya and Braden, the overall series arc continues and things are left on a bit of a cliffhanger for the crew. The books are designed that you can easily jump in and read any book in the series and pick up what's happening, though you may want to start at the beginning of the series to know who all the characters are as they tend to make appearances throughout. It's a fun, sexy, exciting and action packed paranormal romance.

I know it probably shouldn't matter but why did the cover artist have to make the male model look so bizarre? The weird oil glow didn't do him any favors when standing beside the female who looks perfectly normal. That being said don't let the cover deter you from picking up this installment of the X Ops series, Tyler went all out for her readers. We get some crossing over with multiple leads and plots intersecting that become important to the final half of the book. B&D play well off one another despite all the head butting, the clashing of personalities and the insta-flirtations. Although I wasn't surprised by the instant attraction formula between our h&h I was surprised that one of them didn't slap the other at some point with all the bickering and back and forth going on at the beginning. I did like that we moved along the plot because I would have been frustrated to have a stall out this far in at this point to have it just simmer on pause. I hate when authors do that it wastes an opportunity to really bring the readers in. Tyler has no issue focusing on both her h&h and the story line to keep readers fully involved and invested. Thank you Tyler. However I am a tad concerned on the twist and the current lines of goodies verses baddies and who really is good and who isn't. The black and white lines are starting to gray around the edges and its complicating both reader and character alliances. I have to admit I'm a little worried. I look forward to seeing what Paige has planned with her devious genius.

Lots of suspense and action. Braden and Dreya's relationship is fun and exciting to watch unfold. They are the newest team but are assigned to go on two of the department's most dangerous and important missions after just a week of training together. The interaction with the other members of the department also shows the trust that developed in a short amount of time.

We meet Dreya, the master thief, in a previous book. She's quite impressive - able to get into just about anywhere using a mix of her incredible intelligence and her shifter abilities. But she may have taken a mis-step and landed herself in jail. Braden, a police detective, has been tracking her and finally catches to her. This one seemed to have a lot of downtime. When the DCO sweeps in and offers to keep Dreya out of jail, she goes into some intensive training and testing. While I thought it was interesting to see their set-up and recruiting/training methods - it never seemed to end. I wanted more in the mission and with Dreya and Braden out in the field. The time they did spend in the field, seemed a little forced and overdone. I did get to see some of my favorite characters from series, and I do feel like the series storyline was moved forward - but just a bit. I've gotten used to some seriously action-packed stories and this one just let down my expectation a little in that regard. I highly recommend reading this series in order. While each book has a stand-alone romance, there is a lot going on in the X-Ops world that really builds from one book to the next. *I voluntarily read a review copy of this book*

Her True Match by Paige Tyler is the 6th book in her wonderful X-Ops series. I love this series by Tyler, as she gives us exciting, action packed stories, with wonderful couples. Her True Match was the best one yet, and the wild unexpected ending has us clamoring for the next book…NOW. We met our heroes Dreya and Braden in Her Rogue Alpha. She was a thief that was suspected by the DCO to possibly be a shifter, since her abilities seem too good to be human. Braden, a detective, knows nothing of the DCO, but has become obsessed with following Dreya and catching her during one of her thefts. When he successfully catches and arrests her, he is surprised and upset that a government agency has taken her away from the station. His gut tells him to follow, and in doing so, he too eventually becomes part of the DCO team. Dreya is offered to work for DCO, giving her the chance to learn how to use her abilities and help the team, especially in trying to bring down Thorne, the man who killed her friend. Braden is also offered a job, as DCO feels his detective skills, and his ability to know how to find Dreya, makes them a perfect pair. When he becomes Dreya’s partner the sparks ignite between them. In the short time they are being trained to work together, they are sent on emergency missions that are pulse pounding, but their confidence in each other and the slow build romance creates a bond that will make them awesome together. It was so much fun to see this sexy couple fall in love with each other, making themselves that much more of a cohesive team. Ivy, Landon and Tanner are on assignment to find another lab creating hybrids, and when things begin to fall apart, creating danger, it is Dreya and Branden who will be sent to help them. The mission is exciting and tense, but successful. Just when things seem to be going their way, Braden makes a serious mistake that will throw all of our X-Ops heroes to run for their lives. The ending was a thriller that will leave us holding our breaths at what just happened and praying that Tyler will write the next book fast. I loved both Dreya and Braden together. Loved Ivy, Landon and Tanner, who had big roles in this story line. Her True Match was an edge of your seat suspenseful story that was non stop action throughout. Paige Tyler once again gives us a terrific story that keeps us wondering where she will take us in what could be a game changing next book.

Her True Match 'Her True Match' by Paige Tyler is book Six in the "X-Ops" series. This is the story of Dreya and Braden. I have not yet read the other books so for me this was a standalone book. Dreya is a cat burglar and doesn't really now about sifters. Braden is a detective that has been trying to pin Dreya down to the crimes she has been committing. When he does get the chance to take her in for a crime she was caught red-handed in she gets taken in by the 'Feds'. But Braden doesn't give up so easily and follows them to see where she is being taken. This starts Dreya and Braden on an adventure. But along the way they seem to start having feelings for each other. Can Dreya trust Braden with her secret? Can Braden get past what Dreya did and is?Wow...this was a really exciting book that was hard to put down. *A Book Obsessed Chicks Review Team

Detective Braden Hayes never bends the rules, but Dreya Clark might change all that. Dreya is a cat burglar, Braden knows her well, he likes her, but he swore that one day, he would catch her. And so he does. But the DCO, the Department of Cover Operations, had her in their sights as well, and they hire her in exchange for a clean record, they also convince Braden to join the team, and they will have to work together; not an easy task! I loved Dreya and Braden, together and separately, and I also loved how the romance progressed between them, nothing was rushed, and it felt real apart from the fact that I felt Braden accepted that Dreya was a shifter too easily, even if he has never heard of shifters; he simply thought it was cool, and it seemed like the reaction of a teenager, and not completely coherent with him being a cop, but that’s my opinion. I was thrilled that the hybrids were prominently featured in the storyline, as I really enjoy that angle, however I thought that too much time was spent on Dreya’s training with the DCO. It’s fun, and it shows us that she comes to trust Braden, but I would have like more of the story on the hybrids, but then again we get to see a bit of Clayne again – I can’t get enough of him! But Paige Tyler knows how to keep us glued to the page, and the ending to HER TRUE MATCH is as memorable as they come. It’s not a cliffhanger per se, but I can hardly wait for the next book to come out, because it will explosive, to say the least! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This was one incredibly action packed, adventure filled, hilarious, paranormal romance that you will not want to miss out on. Braden Hayes is a good detective, matter of fact he is one of the best in his district. And it is all thanks to his first partner. Thanks to his first partner he realized that he should not break the rules, and he made his job his life because loosing his friend and partner in a shoot out took away his desire to work fully on instinct. And he has been happy with his life..... That is until he her. Dreya Clark. Cat burglar extraordinaire. And the reason why she is so good at her "job"? It's because she doesn't seem to keep or sell any of the items she steals. But why would she possibly do that? This question is what has haunted Braden since he first interrogated her and this question is what led to him becoming the one person in the world that knows Dreya, the real Dreya. Dreya Clark is a cat burglar because her "instincts" demand it of her. She needs the action and the challenges in order to stay sane. But her latest burglary may end her up in a situation that not even her special abilities can get her out of. Especially since Braden may have actually found a way to get her charges to stick, and the federal government is interested in her......for a job? This was one amazing paranormal romance, I absolutely adored Dreya because her snarky/prickly exterior covering her warm nature is what I, and so many other people out in the world, try to project to "outsiders". The only difference is the fact that her claws are a bit sharper than mine could ever be. The author wrote an amazingly riveting romance that I highly recommend any paranormal romance lovers read. Paige Tyler is an author with a writing style you will not want to pass up on. ~ A Book Obsessed Chicks Review Team Selection. (less)

Her True Match by Paige Tyler was a thrill ride from the first page till the end. Even though I have not read all of this series, I never felt too lost in the story. The fast paced story with Dreya being arrested by Braden and then "saved by the DCO hooked me from the beginning. It was fantastic to watch Dreya become aware that she was not alone and NOT a freak. You could practically see her confidence grow within her. The sparks between Dreya and Braden were hot enough to singe the pages. They made a great team once they were paired by the DCO during Dreya's training. When Braden accepted her just as she was, fangs and claws included, you knew they were going to be one of the best teams. Their first assignment wasn't perfect but they worked together and accomplished it. Their second assignment was a lot more traumatic as it included Dreya seeing first hand what evil was being done to create shifters from normal humans without the DNA strand in their makeup. The ending was just so unexpected that I was totally numb. What? How? Where did they go? I am already excited about the next book and it's going to be hard to wait for it's appearance. Review: HER TRUE MATCH (X-Ops) by Paige Tyler Publication Date: March 7, 2017 Genre: Paranormal Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated 4.5 Stars I enjoyed this installment of the X-Ops series. I knew with Dreya being introduced in the last book, that this would be all about her, and it was. I liked the way you understood why she and Braden behaved the way they did. Well, some things seemed to jump forward, but for the most part, they acted as expected for their characters. They sure made a smoking hot couple that easily moved past sexual and in to a real partnership. The beginning was more about building their relationship and then moved in to non-stop action and danger. A real page-turner that sure didn’t end the way I expected. Good book. *Review copy provided NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

WOW! This book is a fast paced whirlwind that will suck you in and not let you go even after the last page has been turned. The crook and the cop. We first met Dreya and Braden in HER ROGUE ALPHA. Dreya had to hide out for a bit but now she is back and up to her old tricks. Cop Braden Hayes hoped that she had given up her risky behavior after losing her mentor and almost getting killed herself but here she is doing an impossible mission type burglary and he is going to arrest her this time. Dreya is scared, for the first time she has been righteously caught red handed by the hot cop. They are both pissed off and confused when the DCO claims her. Dreya and Braden are both in for a world of surprises not the least of which is falling for each other. This story opens up a whole new arc for the X-Ops series and I for one can’t wait to see where the author takes us. Strap in for a hell of a ride.
