Overview

This book is about a grandma and her grandson, Mason, who have a very special bond and love playing together. One of Mason's favorite games is to use his imagination to build something, whether it is with Lego's, Lincoln Logs or farms in the sand. Once it is built, he likes to twist and twirl around like a tornado knocking it all down. At first it was difficult for grandma to see all of their grand creations destroyed so quickly. That was until she realized it is just another of life's important lessons. To pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start over again. You never know, the next time you may like what you create even better.

Chapter One

Mason woke up so excited today, for he knew Grandma would be coming to play.

There would be BIG TORNADOES and small tornadoes. Yes, today "here comes the tornado" would be just what they'd play.

He jumped out of bed all excited to dress. He put on his superhero shirt-who would have guessed?

There would be BIG ONES and small ones. Yes, today "here comes the tornado" would be just what they'd play.

Down the stairs he flew, all ready to go. They were off to the airport for Grandma, you know.

There would be BIG ONES and small ones. Yes, today "here comes the tornado" would be just what they'd play.

Mommy and Mason drove to the airport at noon. It was time for Grandma to be arriving soon.

There would be BIG ONES and small ones. Yes, today "here comes the tornado" would be just what they'd play.

"Grandma! Grandma!" Mason yelled with a smile. "Lets hurry home and play for a while."

There would be BIG ONES and small ones. Yes, today "here comes the tornado" would be just what they'd play.

As soon as they were home, they headed for the sandbox. What fun they would have with their bucket, sticks, and rocks.

There would be BIG ONES and small ones. Yes, today "here comes the tornado" would be just what they'd play.

Carefully they worked to build perfect farms with their tools. They talked and they laughed, knowing there were no rules.
