Overview

In the hubbub of wedding preparations, Christmas celebrations, and a house full of lively children, Aggie is feeling overwhelmed and unappreciated. Add to that two puppies who are growing faster than she can replace chewed shoes and fix dug fences, it seems like things just can't get any worse. Then, as she should be enjoying the most exciting time of her life, she's faced with her worst nightmare.

Towards the end of the book Ms. Havig writes that Aggie sees "beauty amidst the chaos that was her family". As the third book in the"Aggie's Inheritance" series, the anniversary of the childrens' parents' death is a pivot on the journey to the new life Aggie and Luke are creating. And, with God's help, the promises she made in accepting the ready made family are empowered as good and bad things affect the children and adults because: ready or not, here they come!

Nooooooo! The last Aggie book? Please, please write more! The writer made each character come to life so well. Such a deep faith woven through this that is so subtle...yet so profound. Love the writing style. Would give 10 stars for the series if I could. Review by CherishD

Aggie's patience is stretched to the max by attitudes, puppies, and holiday traditions. Those things can wear on any mommy but let's throw in wedding planning while homeschooling five kids with three toddlers under foot! Now that's enough to put a frazzled mommy in the fetal position! Aggie pulls through it all with help from her friends. All mommies need friends like that! Luke, Tina, and William are an indispensable support system through every trial and storm. Have the tissues ready, the one-year anniversary of the accident rolls around and brings a new wave of grief. There are plenty of funny kid moments and moms will relate to Aggie's full spectrum of emotions.
