Jill Shalvis does it again!! He's So Fine Lucky Harbor book #11 is just as entertaining and full of real life as the rest of them. Olivia Bentley came to Lucky Harbor to get a new start.  She is a lively, quirky lady that runs the vintage shop in town.  Cole Donovan is a former Navy Seal, that works with his best buddies with Lucky Harbor Charter boats.  He is a guy that expects you to be totally honest in all aspects of life and is the fixer of what is broke.   One day Olivia sees a man drowning and without thought goes in to save him.  Little did she know that the man was former Navy Seal, sexy surfer guy next door, Cole Donovan!  Ultimately she ends of saving her, even as she sees she was saving him! Laugh out loud humor! Their journey to find what they are each looking for is as uniquely heart –warming and sexy as I have grown to love about Jill Shalvis’ books!  I am so looking forward to the next Lucky Harbor book!

AudioBook Review: Stars: 3 Narration 3 Story 3 Former child star Olivia just wanted a place to be, where the people who relied on her, then dropped her when she stopped acting, don’t have any expectations, or control, over her life. She’s got a good friend and a successful little vintage shop, her life in Lucky Harbor is happy and she’s able to remove herself from the difficult relationship with her mother and sister. Secrets, of which Olivia has many, are closely held, and while Olivia has no real reason to keep them, her difficulty in sharing her history is understandable. Chase is a charter boat captain, not overburdened with secrets: he’s just not interested in another relationship or the work it will entail. But, Olivia is both cute and seemingly omnipresent, as her best friend is engaged to one of his business partners and best friends, Sam. Sure there’s no harm in something casual, but can it stay that way. I had more problem with this one than most – for Olivia’s steely grasp on her secrets about her past – she didn’t murder anyone, she wasn’t a failure or a thief – so her unwillingness to share that she was a child actor was just a step too far for me. It’s not earth-shattering news, it was years ago, and people know her to have a great heart, be a good friend, and she’s well-liked in the community. Unfortunately, her lack of sharing made me less willing to buy into their relationship – even as it had plenty of moments that are classic Shalvis, with humor, change and growth happening. It was lots of tempest in a teapot moments for something that was arguably not that important to hide, but the hiding became the issue. Of course Chase didn’t care, and it didn’t (although I think it would have) give him much pause, he actually was the standout in this story. Narration for this book was provided by Angèle Masters, and she gives a solid presentation of the story, the friends and the moments of humor, questions and even the relationship that Olivia had with her mother and sister. It’s been a series of different narrative voices for this series, so the change here took me some time to adjust – it was a solid performance all the way around. I received an AudioBook copy of the title from Hachette Audio for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

5 Stars! Release: 09/30/14 Contemporary Romance ABOUT THE BOOK: For Olivia Bentley, Lucky Harbor is more than the town where she runs her new vintage shop. It's the place where folks are friendly to strangers-and nobody knows her real name. Olivia does a good job of keeping her past buried, not getting too cozy with anyone . . . until she sees a man drowning. Suddenly she's rushing into the surf, getting up close and personal with the hottest guy she's ever laid hands on. Charter boat captain Cole Donovan has no problem with a gorgeous woman throwing her arms around his neck in an effort to "save" him. In fact, he'd like to spend a lot more time skin-to-skin with Olivia. He's just not expecting that real trouble is about to come her way. Will it bring her deeper into Cole's heart, or will it be the end of Olivia's days in little Lucky Harbor? MY REVIEW: five fine stars! This was great! The set up in these two meeting each other had me in tears with laughter. Who would have though a prior SEAL would need rescuing from drowning! Ha! I loved the toughness of both the heroine and hero in this read. It had me engaged, and not wanting it to end. I have to say at this point I only with this Town actually existed. I would so visit there and most likely people watch all these characters just to see how they are doing now. This book is just as steamy as the last, and Ms Shalvis doesn't disappoint with a great read!

I laughed so hard in the beginning that I had tears in my eyes. The narration was wonderful! The characters were so perfect for each other - despite their past hidden secrets. I loved both Olivia and Cole. They were real and inviting. I think that every girl needs a Cole in her life - as a brother, mate or friend. Their path may have had a few ripples in the water, but they come out on the other end wiser and with more love than either thought possible. I would recommend this one! I actually listened to it twice.

Loved the book but I jumped into this series in the middle and now I have to go back to the beginning and read them all... Great story and well written... Just enough story and just enough hot stuff... Love the small town and everybody knowing everybody's business. Lots of fun there and every town should have a Lucille... Enough spoilers here without me so I will just say, Read and Enjoy....

I just loved Olivia Bentley. When she was "saving" Cole Donovan from drowning...I couldn't stop laughing. The whole time in his boat afterwards...OMG! These two fell hard for each other quickly. The only problem is Olivia doesn't want Cole to know about her past and who she really is, a child actor with a colorful past, but Cole is like an open book and has no secrets. I loved how she was welcomed with open arms into Cole's crazy family and how it made her feel so wonderful, seeing as she doesn't really have anything to do with her family who only wanted to live off of her success. I really enjoyed the relationship between Olivia and Becca as well as Cole's relationship with Sam and Tanner. Another great story from one of my favorite towns!

In He's So Fine (Lucky Harbor #11) by Jill Shalvis, Cole is a dependable, honest man who runs a charter boat company with his friends in Lucky Harbor.  He doesn't trust easily though, and past hurts have stopped him from getting close to a woman for a long time...until Olivia... Olivia is finally living the life she wants to live in Lucky Harbor.  She's trying to leave her past behind her, and who she says she is now is who she is now...just not who she was.  She keeps herself closed off and a little remote, hiding a past she wants nothing to do with but that won't stay in the past.  When she 'saves' Cole from drowning, he's no longer the man she ogles out of her window...but a man who makes her tingle and want more.  But Olivia has convinced herself she can't have more, even as Cole finds himself drawn to her and wanting her in a way he hasn't wanted anyone. As their relationship builds, both of their pasts throw up road blocks in different ways.  Cole is starting to trust and believe in love again, but will Olivia's secrets threaten what they could have together?  Can they both find a way to make peace with the past? It was so much fun to be back in Lucky Harbor in He's So Fine!  I love that place, and Jill does a fantastic job of taking me there!  I love all the quirky characters on the side lines, and it was great to see them again.  While I think He's So Fine can be read as a stand alone, I'd recommend reading the whole series to get a true feel for Lucky Harbor. The main characters in He's So Fine pulled me in, making me want to know their secrets and where they'll go from here.  I really liked them both, and even though keeping secrets is not good, Jill let me get to know the characters well enough to understand how their pasts have brought them to where they are today.  As usual Jill's characters have a magnetic chemistry and connection that is entertaining, sweet, and palpable.  I liked how she worked in the family dynamics as well as friendship dynamics in He's So Fine, it made the people even more believable. With fun characters that are easy to like, well paced and smooth writing, I'd recommend He's So Fine to any contemporary romance reader!

I LOVED He’s So Fine! First of all, I adore Olivia. She’s a very stand-offish kind of person that makes the best kind of friend ever. Plus, I want to visit her shop. Second, this book just takes you away to a fun, light-hearted, peaceful place that you won’t want to leave. One of my favorite parts was when Lucille gets offended that Facebook doesn’t enjoy tasteful art. Huh… that reminds me of someone else… ;) More… Author: Jill Shalvis Source: Grand Central Publishing via Netgalley Grade: A+ Steam: We’ve got a scorcher here & there Setting: Lucky Harbor, Washington (United States) Series: Lucky Harbor, 11

Jill Shalvis has written another hysterically funny, wonderful story. This is a laugh out loud read. The story is about a former child star and a charter boat captain who meet in unusual circumstances. They must overcome mistrust issues from previous experiences to find a love of a lifetime. I couldn't put this book down, I highly recommend it.

I love this series and especially loved this installment. It embraced every emotion. It was sweet, sexy and at times broke your heart. Well worth the time.
