Overview

Two young journeyers become spokespeople for The Quest, a global false religion orchestrated by Geo, leader of the demonic forces. Fueled by the constant prayers and actions of long-lost friends, they are rescued. Sam and Jill go to the steep land, but Ari sends them through a wilderness where their faith is tested by a tragedy, silence, pain, and doubt. Finally reunited, the team of three couples return as missionaries to Towers, where some of them are imprisoned - until a miraculous event frees them and brings future revival to Towers.

About the Author

Rick Brown and his wife, Beverly, live in Richardson, Texas. Rick’s first book, Out of the Forest (no longer in print) was a 2008 Christian Choice Book Award winner. In addition to his passion for writing, he serves as a deacon and Bible study teacher at The Heights Church, and he and Bev have participated on mission trips all over the world. Professionally, he is an investment adviser. Rick holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Baylor University, graduating summa cum laude, and has studied at Rockbridge Seminary. Rick enjoys playing the guitar and writing worship songs as well as hiking and backpacking, and he and Bev have hiked many miles on the Appalachian Trail, the Grand Canyon, and Mount Kilimanjaro.
