Meredith & Brice make a good story. The story flows. It is interesting, adventurous, romantic and fun to read. Very well done.

I was son the fence about how I felt about this book. It took me a while to get into it, there was parts that I was intrigued, and then other parts that I just kept reading to finish the book The characters were decent, I just felt there wasn't enough depth to them to really sell their feelings. Good story line with enough twists to keep it interesting.

I really enjoyed this romance novel. This was my first book by Ruth Langan, and I look forward to reading more by her in the future. I found myself crying at parts of the novel, worried that Brice and Meredith would not end up together due to death or some other misfortune (such as Brice leaving without a word after he knows she is okay...I could have kicked him for that!), but all ended well - with the exception of me wanting the story to continue but the book ran out of pages. My only complaint is that it was shorter than I would have liked, but the quality of what was in those pages was exceptional.

I liked this book. It has every thing a good book should have , romance, danger and love. Its not too wordy and flows well. The only thing I word have liked is to have more sex, but that is just me. Other than that I enjoyed it.

This was pretty good. Meredith was a head-strong character whose ignorance (totally unaware) regarding the rather obvious bad guy rode my patience thin, but she was still an overall interesting person, same as Brice. I loved his temper and struggles where Meredith was concerned, and I enjoyed seeing his friends. Queen Mary was just hilarious and I loved her role in this, too, though the ending was a bit predictable because of it. Still, I was on the edge of my seat as to what would happen to the lovers, since they're both leaders with people and obligations to put before their own hearts. Overall entertaining read.
