Highlander of Mine was the second book in the Glimpse Time Travel books by Ms. Jameson. This time, the hero and the heroine were Duncan (the Highlander) and Fleur. I found this story to be a bit lighter than the first one in the series but had just has much detail, maybe more, that was a part of the story. The Muse sisters, Erato and Clio, are at it again in this story. Fleur is sent back in time for a “glimpse” of what life could be like for her, if she would just believe in herself. Duncan, a Highlander from the past, is struggling with issues of the times but is truly a deep, wonderful character. And he has an accent – I’m happy! The history that is part of this book is amazing and I learned a few things along the way. It sometimes went too deep into detail but the story was great and I can forgive the author for wanting me to know DNA strands. And Ms. Jameson threw in what I’ll call a zinger at the end that made me laugh; I’m still smiling. As I said about the first, it was a well-thought out, well-written book that I enjoyed AND was a fun read. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ooooh, I liked this one even better than the first! The Muses are so funny, I just love them! Throw in a sexy highlander and what girl could resist this novel? I can't wait for the next one!
