History of Autonomous Sicily (1947-2001)

This is a history of Sicily from 1947 to 2001. The first date marks the passage of the Sicilian Statute which granted Sicily a semi-autonomous status, one of five regions with such a statute. The book is an objective and accurate account of the accomplishments and failures of the Sicilian Parliament to improve the lot of Sicilians during the first fifty years of its enactment.
