About the Author

Known to her followers as Dr. Croom Army Vet, Dr. Turnera Croom served in the Army Veterinary Corps, right out of Veterinary School at Tuskegee College of Veterinary Medicine.

Entrepreneurial by nature, Dr. Croom embarked on her first business venture while holding a full-time veterinary job with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Turnera’s drive and passion led her to leave a very secure job with USDA to strike out on her own with her company, Steadfast International LLC.

Within Steadfast, she created Dr. Croom Mobile Veterinary Service, which allows her to provide professional, holistic veterinary care right inside people’s homes in SW Michigan .

She provides wellness exams, holistic modalities like animal spinal manipulation (chiropractic), and a sensitive bereavement service, called Last Wishes Service for those pets needing assistance crossing the Rainbow bridge in the comfort of their family home.

With so much focus on holistic health, people’s furry family members are no exception. Dr. Croom manufactures the Dr. Croom Army Vet brand of CBD pet products, which are sold in several retail locations and on her website DrCroom.com. She has experienced great results, helping her patients reduce stress, anxiety, and pain and inflammation.

Dr. Turnera Croom has been committed not only to excellent veterinary care, but to the education of youth about careers in Veterinary Medicine. In 2016, Dr. Croom created her unique Future Veterinarian Program, where young students who are interested in animals and their care, met with her in their local pet supply stores to learn directly from a Veterinarian what it takes to succeed in this exciting field.
