This book is based on a true story and exemplifies Walkin N Circles Ranch's mission. WNCR exists to rescue, rehabilitate and provide proper care and humane treatment to unwanted, abused and abandoned horses. Their purpose is to provide each rescued horse humane and caring attention in which fear and pain are left at the front gate. Following a total assessment, gentle rehabilitation, training, and a rigorous screening process, WNCR endeavors to find loving adoptive homes for each horse. The objective is to provide each rescued horse a chance for a new start in a useful and productive life.

About the Author

Roger grew up in the heart of the big city of Chicago. Even though he and his family have lived in New Mexico since 1971, being around horses had never been a part of his life. After learning about the abused and neglected horse population in New Mexico, Roger became a volunteer at Walkin N Circles Ranch (WNCR) in 2012, "jumping in with both boots".

An aspiring writer, he was encouraged to write a children's book about a real horse rescue by the ranch hands as a fund raiser for WNCR. "Holly's Amazing Rescue" is the result. It has captured the hearts of all who have read it.
