Overview

Home Invasion by Joy Fielding

Kathy Brown suddenly wakes up. Was that a noise in the house, or part of her dream? In her dream, Kathy was about to kiss Michael, her high school boyfriend. Her husband, Jack, lies beside her, snoring. Michael is exciting. Jack is boring. When Kathy hears the noise again, she gets up. Then she hears whispers. Then she feels a gun at her head. Two men are in the house. Kathy and her husband face a living nightmare. Kathy must also face her real feelings about her husband. The outcome surprises everyone, most of all Kathy herself. A perfect book choice for new readers.

Very disappointed in this book. It started off interesting enough but than it was over and didn't even give any details. Husband in surgery..all good. Stepdaughter who hated her says shes scared too...so that makes them all a big happy family. And i think it took me longer to write this than it took to read the book. Feeling ripped off for my money.

I am very disappointed in this extremely short story. As another reviewer wrote: this is very different from the books Joy Fielding usually write. It had potential, but fizzled out by page ten. I hope this is not indicative of her future books. Simone24

Only 35 pages and very boring. Not typical of a Joy Fielding book.
