CHAPTER 1
POETRY
I SEE CRYING HEARTS
Everywhere I see it
Crying hearts,
In need of God's transformed life.
I see hopeless eyes
Looking upon me,
Everywhere there is to be.
I've even seen those same
Hopeless eyes looking back at me!
Death within is being lived without.
I see shattered withins,
Walking in their brokenness,
Lost in a darkness of shame,
No vision to claim.
Respect seems welcome no more
Everywhere I see it,
Almost everywhere I've gone.
I see crying hearts
Crying through life,
Chasing the wrong needs;
Victims of life's evil deeds,
So many crying hearts I see,
That just having some hope
Can become a crying hearts defeat.
THE HEART
SPEAKS
ALL THROUGHOUT LIFE,
WHAT'S HEARD
IS UP TO YOU!
WHAT'S HAPPENING
On a right track
In a moment,
Then in what's happening
To me the next!
How did I end up here?
I thought my heart
Has mainly been sincere,
Why in this am I?
Surrounded by hateful cheers
Betrayed by the faces
I've known for years.
I'm living out inner fears,
Releasing lakes of tears,
No funny joy time is really had here.
I'm a stranger to familiar peers.
My heart no one can hear?
The change of love is weird.
I'm wanting out of here
Where none to me feels near,
My faith is tested here;
And all of a sudden is happening.
What's happening?
ALL OF A SUDDEN
CAN ALL OF A SUDDEN,
BECOME SUDDENLY,
THEN SUDDENLY THE UNEXPECTED
IS HAPPENING;
ALL OF A SUDDEN!
FEARS THOUGHTS
You're this, you're that,
You're not the who is liked,
Fears thoughts of you
No doubt are right,
With folks
All you do is fight!
Just crazy
Is your life
You're seen in crazy's light,
But love is in your life,
That love is Jesus Christ
For you he sacrificed,
For you to live despite
Fears thoughts of you in life,
Stay on the side that's right,
You'll get your peaceful night
And sleep through storms called fears.
YOU'RE NOT THIS OR THAT
WILL ALWAYS BE
SOMEONE'S FELT
ABOUT WHO THEY THINK YOU JUST ARE,
THAT'S WHY YOU MUST KNOW
WHO YOU ARE NOT!
JUDGE NOT
To understand a person
Is to walk backwards
In his or her shoes
(What most wouldn't do)!
Or simply just
Open up your heart,
To his or her truth!
Let the news
Of who and why they are,
Be the words
Coming from that person's mouth,
To your ears of just listening
To understand is to walk with
And not against!
Be the type of you
That you would want
Someone to be;
To a misunderstood YOU!
Judge not lest ye be judged.
SIGHT, SEE,
READ, LISTEN,
TO REALLY THINK;
THEN YOU'LL GROW TO KNOW.
THE CROWD
A walk taken
Forward walking up the street,
The always crowd is seen.
Will it open up?
To let pass by (Me),
Or will (I),
Simply walk around?
I kindly say "excuse (Me)
For the necessary people,
Out my way to move.
I even spoke to those that I thought I knew
As I slowly made my way through,
While walking forward
The crowd I faced,
But once I passed;
My back is what the crowd
And those I thought I knew, now see.
I at no point turn around
My attention are on what's in front of me.
I'm not focused,
On the crowd that I left behind me ME.
NO WEAPON
OR VOICES
FORMED AGAINST (ME);
SHALL PROSPER.
TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT
To want to fit in
Where there is nowhere to fit in
Is a painful experience
Of not fitting in,
Cruelty is cruel;
As ignorance is so rude,
The outcast treatment;
Is what no heart should endure.
No one chooses their different!
How dare the normal just considered
Be to another person's feelings
So inconsiderate!
Every created is God approved;
Even when that creation is different from you!
Words bruise.
Don't attack God's beautiful
For being different,
That different by God maybe used
To uplift the heart's haters abuse;
Treat people right.
It does start with you!
DON'T LET IGNORANT
BE YOU,
JUST BE THE BEST YOU;
DOING TO OTHERS,
AS YOU WANT DONE TO YOU.
ONCE FRIENDS
Smiles shared,
Secrets told,
I'll call you later
Often spoke.
Oh how we laughed,
At inside jokes;
Our bond back then,
No day was broke.
That was then
The end is now.
New enemies are found
Now those once friends;
Are no longer around!
TRUE FRIENDSHIPS
ARE A BLESSING
TO A REAL FRIEND;
THAT IS A GOOD FRIEND.
I FORGIVE
I forgive me,
For all the wrong I've done.
I forgive,
The rejecters of my rejections!
I forgive,
The closing of every door on me!
I forgive,
Those that no longer wanted to know me.
(I hope I'm forgiven for feeling the same).
I forgive,
Every enemy that should not have been,
But had to become my enemies!
I forgive,
The heartless hearts
Towards my broken heart!
I forgive,
Those for me but secretly against me!
I forgive because forgiveness
Is apart of God's forgiven heart!
FORGIVENESS
IS AN ANOINTING,
A TREASURE IN US ALL!
LOVE YOURSELF
To love and let go
Is to let go in love,
Done out of love;
To no more let love
Take away self-love.
Love for others
Should be had;
Just don't let loving others
Cause you to lose it for yourself.
Loving from a distance
Becomes okay to do
When it's necessary
To end;
Love gone wrong,
Love God
And he will give you the strength,
To love you and others to!
IF NO ONE ELSE CAN
WHY NOT BE THE ONE
THAT DO LOVE YOU!
BREAK THE CYCLE
Break the cycle
The cycle that keeps on
Spirit breaking,
Stopping always at
The same ole been seen;
Then on it starts again.
Another same ole defeat,
Break the cycle!
Reach for what's missing
New truths!
Truths that needs to be received
In order for greatness to be achieved,
Make it out!
Break the cycle of negative connections,
Brokenness of every kind of abuse must end.
In you is where it begins
Change the hopeless ways of thinking
Don't find false peace;
In anything that's not of God.
To you hope is speaking.
Have faith and believe; Faith is life and life's worth living!
KEEP DOING
THE BEST YOU CAN,
UNTIL DOING BETTER
IS BEING DONE BY YOU!
TIMES
On and on goes on
Just making it,
Is all it is!
When it is what it is.
Every heart knows
How bad timing can feel.
Just a part of life is real
Moments sits still
On one's mind.
Scars and shame reminds the heart
Of the worst times,
The times when lonely was the felt;
And little was the help.
The true dreams of you;
The favor of God in you kelp,
As on and on you go.
Walking no time by yourself
Times do get hard;
But it never just stops;
Until your times up!
TIME
IS TIMED,
FOR TIMES SUCH AS THESE;
YOUR TIMING IS NOW!
GOD'S HEALING
Transitions from this life
To the last everlasting life,
Leaves the hearts
Of the loved ones that's still here;
Living in this life to mourn
In heartbreaking moments,
God's healing is needed.
Extreme hardship introduces,
The unwarned to long suffering;
God's healing is being performed.
That's why on you still go,
With the belief that better days
Will again come;
God's healing heals.
His powerful is real.
Give him all the worries you feel,
And he'll always;
Do within
What needs to be done.
GOD'S HEALING WORKS!
CHANGES ARE POSSIBLE
Changes will happen,
When change really
Gets ready for it to;
Changes will become the changes,
That was changed
During the time of change;
Allowed by a will to change,
Changes are possible.
When there in our control
To get those changes,
In Jesus name done!
Changes are possible;
And will happen when,
The time for change has come.
YOU CAN MAKE,
WANTED CHANGES HAPPEN!
INNER CAGE
A need to open up,
This inner cage;
Where I've too long stay,
Lost and sometimes afraid;
For good relationships,
I so often prayed,
But because of fears;
I'd destroy them anyway.
(I'm feeling a li negative today).
I need to open up
This inner cage,
Where struggles remain;
My official enemy
Is the one within me!
I will open up
This inner cage,
Before I from myself get away;
And maybe
I'll enjoy the rest of the day.
Outside this inner cage!
A BAD DAY
WILL BE HAD;
BUT MAKING IT BETTER;
IS UP TO THE STRONGER SIDE OF YOU!
DECLARE
To declare
The many victories
First stored in one's mind,
Is to declare;
I by God will only be defined.
God can keep this heart of mines.
His grace causes me to believe;
That I am a one of a kind,
And I declare;
I'm victorious in the Lord,
I'm an overcomer.
I may not look like
The far enough;
That I've been blessed to come,
But I have come far!
I still declare that I am,
Who God says I am;
Even in not quite yet!
DECLARE;
"I AM WHO GOD SAYS I AM".
GET THE DREAM OUT
Get the dream out,
Or in you;
The dream just lives.
Only to end up heart buried,
Beneath scars of unhealthy emotional waste,
Get the dream out!
Believe beyond those,
Meant to stop you fears.
Exist in your sincere
Get the dream out,
Or your dreams will keep you drowning
In an inner unhappy felt;
That hides an authentic
Reality of yourself!
You're worth being the whole;
Beautiful master piece that you are!
Get the dream out;
Or in you
The dream can also die.
Want your life,
BELIEVE and HELP YOUR DREAMS BE REAL!
BELIEVE ENOUGH IN YOU
TO LIFE;
YOU'RE TRUTHS!
UNAFRAID TO WIN
Afraid to be recognized;
So failure isn't always failure!
Expressions sometimes have to hide,
To stop certain misunderstandings
From becoming an offensive problem
That will off end.
Succeeding on purpose;
Is an obligation to faith!
A secret striving to be,
Is when nobody can see
All the God given dedications within,
But in you determination won't sleep.
That's why you won't quit.
You will win!
You are the audacity;
That's unafraid to believe you'll win,
Even after many losses.
"Be unafraid to win"!
NEVER REDUCE YOURSELF
TO YOUR OWN FEARS;
JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE THEM.
A PASSION SEARCHING
High hopes, big dreams,
True passions are strong,
A passion searching;
Searches for all it means
To walk in it's truest way,
In peace and in total free.
No cares for judging me,
I'm happy to just be
Her that is she;
A passion searching,
For the life that is fulfilling;
To God...then me,
A passion searching
Yeah let's see,
The many blessings;
That nothing can take from me!
LET THE PASSIONS IN YOU
TURN YOU ON
TO THE REALEST YOU!
HOPE
Be a hope;
A hope that ask God,
How to share hope,
With those in need of it!
Hope is strength,
Strength is God;
God is hope.
Hope gives hope to no hope!
It's inspiration to be hopeful
When life feels hopeless;
Be a hope!
HOPE ALWAYS
TO EVERY
END!
FIGHT HARD TO NEVER GIVE UP.
WITH OPEN EYES
A choice walks away
With a new understanding
That it's beyond,
Just baring the pain
Of somebody else bad
Decision no longer stays
In an unvalued place
Deserve a peaceful space
Where deserving is not ashamed in safe
Survivals under God's grace
With open eyes
(Get away)
Then re-learn how
With yourself to be okay
Open your eyes to better see
God's best is still for you.
TO STAND IN YOUR
OWN WAY
IS TO BLOCK WHAT YOU
WON'T SEE,
UNTIL YOU MOVE OUT,
YOUR OWN WAY;
IN ORDER TO TRULY SEE!
JUST ME
I'm just me!
All that I am
I just be
My true to life
Always longs,
To life me.
I from no other can feel complete;
Unless I'm standing
In a wholeness
That does define me;
Where I can just be
All that I am which is
Who I am,
And who I am;
Is just me!
THIS CHILD OF GOD KNOWS
THAT I AM,
NOT and WAS.
HARD ALWAYS TRY
Hard always try.
Eyes sometimes have to cry;
As a hand also waves goodbye,
The view isn't always in sight!
No thoughts are always right.
There is only good or bad advice.
Hard always try.
There's always something to buy.
An interest only catches the eye
As shocking these days
May barely surprise;
Hard always try,
So
Try hard to stay in faith,
You'll life your best life;
The harder YOU try!
TRYING SURVIVES
THE HARDEST OF TIMES;
THE HARDER YOU TRY,
THE DAYS BY ONE!
I'M SPECIAL
JUST BECAUSE I'M ME
Who are you
Ta say or ta even think
That I am not special,
Especially when I know that I am.
The name that I have,
Is the name that I should be known by.
My personality is special,
Just because it is mines;
Whether it be good to one and bad to another.
The color of my skin,
My face, my weight, my height;
Hell my whole entire body will always make up me,
Meaning there is only 1 me.
So when I am being talked about
Or described by another,
That person or persons can only give a description
Of the reflection of the real woman that I know and see;
When I look into the mirror.
And if I'm described as wrong only,
That's because that person or persons;
Knows nothing but hurtful about me,
And I had to have been,
Just being hated on.
