About the Author

Elysia Duke, a native of northwestern Tennessee, is a writer on the autism spectrum. She began her writing career in college and one of her English composition papers on the topic of virtual reality and autism was nominated for a writing conference. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin, Master of Public Administration degree from Murray State University in Kentucky, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

She is passionate about the political world and wanted to do something to change the political arena along with social justice. Her mantra is, “the war isn’t over yet, and it’ll never be” meaning the continuation to fight for disability rights.
