This books is great for beginning parents. This is because it tells them that they will make mistakes and that they will overcome them. The author has a firm handle on the subject matter and expresses himself well. I believe that if you are a religious person and need help understanding your kids this is a must read. If you can't put aside the religious verbage within the text you should not open the cover. The author is well defined within his subject mater of religion and child rearing.
