The book, "How Do I Love You?", explains to children how much they are loved. Examples are given on every page describing how our love for children compares to other things and their environment, such as loving them as a bird loves to sing a song.I think this is a great book to help children understand what love is and the extent of love! It also helps children understand comparisons. This book may be helpful to children who have a hard time using words to explain their feelings. To incorporate this book into the classroom, I would bring many of student's favorite objects into the classroom and have them make comparisons as to what it reminds them of. For instance, I would bring a pillow and have them tell me what a pillow reminds them of, or balloons and cake so we could make comparisons.
