About the Author

Patrick George’s illustrations are concept-driven, with the simplicity of an idea and its execution being at the core of his work. He aims to bring a new perspective to familiar topics. With his wife and colleague, Ann Scott, Patrick publishes his own innovative range of children’s books which have been translated into 17 languages. Animal Rescue was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal for illustration and the prestigious German Youth Literature Prize. His last book, Planet Rescue was released in 2019 after a successful crowdfunding campaign. His clients include ESPN, L’Express, GQ, and The Guardian.
