How To Be Captivating: The Ultimate Guide to Being Irresistible by Shay Allie shows us how to be captivating and exude confidence. This book is broken up into three parts. In part one, “Being Captivating: The Mindset” shows us how to live in our core energy and ‘paint our dreams’. In part two, “Being Captivating: The Look” we are shown how to dress for our personality and what colors work well with it. In part three, “Being Captivating: The Presence” we are shown how to exude confidence, speak in front of others, and master the art of true connection with others. I enjoyed the techniques in each chapter to help us incorporate what was taught in that chapter. At the end of each chapter there is a summary of what was covered in that chapter. I enjoyed how we are shown how to use our voice to be captivating and the use of body language. Overall, I thought this book was very well written and had some good points that are useful in everyday life from work related to personal. I would recommend this book to those who want to have more presence and improve their interactions with others. I acknowledge that I received this book free of charge from John Hunt Publishing in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion of the book.
