It all starts with a tornado destroying the barn that Josh and his family heavily for their ranch and their livelihood. With the repairs costing $500, the only thing that the family could do is sell the ranch to a greedy businessman but there is a bandit called the Blood Claw Bandit loose on the town with a $500 reward. As Josh tries to save the ranch before it's too late, the chance to catch the Bandit is close by. We are left with a surprise on who this Blood Claw Bandit really is and even more surprising news on the fate of the ranch! I don't want to spoil anything on what really happens in this book but beware that the Blood Claw Bandit is someone that Josh meets in this book without their cover on, early on in the story! It's not really shocking if you sit there and think about it but it will make sense in the end on how they were able to steal so much! It was a fast pace story that will leave you wanting more stories of this town that has dinosaurs and the old west kind of life!
