Reviewed by Trudi LoPreto for Readers' Favorite I found this book to be truly a book that I could learn from to become a better person. It touched on so many issues that I could apply to so many of my everyday encounters with people. I was able to use my new found knowledge immediately and it really worked. Each section begins with a different Bible scripture to describe the situation, then breaks down the way to handle it and gives a modern day story to illustrate it. The chapters have questions, check lists, examples and answers for so many of the typical situations we find ourselves in day after day. Learn if you are dependent or independent, aggressive, passive-aggressive, assertive, an avoider, an attacker or an ambusher or activator. Are you a tortoise, a chameleon or a weasel? June Hunt covers the relationships we face with difficult people who try to manipulate or confront us. She also teaches us how to confront a constant critic, how to deal with conflict resolution and how to forgive and let go of our anger. "How to Deal with Difficult Relationships" will make it very clear what character type you are and what category the difficult person you are dealing with falls into. The book gives you practical answers on how to overcome these obstacles and have a much better relationship with everyone you meet. "How to Deal with Difficult Relationships" is a handbook for living that you will turn to again and again. June Hunt has shared many valuable life lessons with us. The Bible plays an important role in this book in showing us how to live the Christian life, but you don’t have to be Christian to learn the lessons. It is a book everyone can benefit from. I highly recommend this book for everyone who has ever had to deal with that annoying, ridiculous person. It really worked for me and I am sure it will work for you.
