About the Author

Giselle Mills is an attorney-at-law who was admitted to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in November 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School. As a student, she found law school to be quite challenging and emotionally-draining. Thus, she decided to share the practical tips she acquired in this book, as a guide for new law students to help them increase their chances of surviving.

Giselle is also the author of the novel "Through It All" which was used by the University of the West Indies as the main text for analysis in the Caribbean Civilisation course for the academic year 2017/2018. Additionally, she is the owner and editor of the new online magazine Patrice Magazine which features articles on female empowerment and highlights issues surrounding Caribbean identity.
