About the Author

Amy Moore’s love of writing began when she wrote her first poem, “The World,” in the first grade. She can still recite every word to this day. She is also the author of The Bakers Dozen, illustrated by Andrea Stegmaier. When not writing, she loves teaching children to dance, reading, and baking. Amy lives with her husband, two daughters, and many pets outside of Boston, where the leaves turn delightful colors in the fall. Follow her on Instagram @thedailybookmark.
