I fioretti di san Francesco sono un'esemplare raccolta di miracoli ed esempi devoti concernenti la vita del famoso santo. L'opera, scritta tra il 1322 e il 1328, probabilmente è frutto dell'ingegno del frate e cronista Ugolino Brunforte (Sarnano, 1262 circa – 1348 circa). Al centro del testo c'è ovviamente l'esempio dato dal santo di Assisi che diventa concretizzazione in terra di umiltà, carità, amore e devozione nei confronti di Dio.
