Overview

With its irresistible rhythm and rhyme, adorable art, and appealing title character, I Saw an Ant on the Railroad Track charmed both children and critics. And that irrepressible Ant is on the march again . . . this time in a parking lot:
not to park, but to find a spot
of sticky soda, crumbs, or what
some careless kids or crows forgot.

But life's not safe for a small Ant in a large lot-because heading for him, sure as shot, is a red minivan. And who sees what's happening? Just the ticket matron, Dot. Can she think fast . . . before an ant goes SPLOT?

In this NOOK Kids Read to Me book, children can choose to hear the story read aloud, tap to enlarge text and pinch & stretch to zoom in on pictures.

My 3-year-old granddaughter loves this book and always asks me to "read" it to her.

This one is not as good as I Saw an Ant on a Railroad Track but it is still fun and great for kids who are learning rhyming words. The illustration is great and the narration is the same as the previous book. Well worth the 3.99 price tag.

This is a fun and cute book. My 4 year old loves it and want to read it often. She also loves I Saw and Ant on the Railroad Track by Joshua Prince. Entertaining read.

I have "I Saw an Ant on a Railroad Track" and loved it which is why I purchased this one. I was disappointed it didn't have the same interactive features the other book did, and which kids really enjoy.

My 8 year old son saw the cover of this book and really wanted me to buy it for our e reader. As we were reading it he kept saying "What are they talking about"? Poorly chosen words for.a kids book.

My 5 year old said that the story was boring. The rhyming was good but felt forced in some instances. The illustration was good in the book.
