Ibis the Invincible debuted in Whiz Comics #2, published by Fawcett Publications, in February of 1940. He would be a regular back up character in that title for over a hundred issues. Ibis also had his own title IBIS THE INVINCIBLE which lasted a total of six issues and was published sporadically between 1943 and June of 1948. IBIS THE INVINCIBLE VOLUME ONE collects all six of those issues advertisement free.
