Universal's 2011 Icon compilation graciously helps answer the question "What Is a Juggalo?" by rounding up 11 tracks from Insane Clown Posse's major-label stint on Island. ICP didn't exactly have hits during this late-'90s stretch: to be precise, they had only one, the novelty "Santa's a Fat Bitch," which is nowhere to be found here, but its absence doesn't indicate that this collection is a misrepresentation of what the band is all about. No, this has all the lunacy, profanity, and idiocy that can be found on ICP's proper albums, only it's distilled to a digestible bite-sized portion for the causal or curious listener. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
