Interspersed with the breathtaking landscape and nature photographs are images conveying some of Idaho's cultural history: recreation, such as whitewater rafting, kayaking, and skiing; and community activities such as festivals, fairs, and rodeos. Howard Leland understands what makes Idaho special: its vast national forests, spectacular Hell's Canyon, massive river systems, dramatic waterfalls, placid lakes, rare and elusive wildlife, and much more.

I bought this book for may dad who is in a health care facility, and I just recently had to to have a sprial binding put on it because my dad has wore it out looking at the pictures. The pictures help him to remember times when when life had a whole different meaning. Thanks for the great job of putting my dad's mind at peace.
