Idomenée is a tragic opera (tragédie en musique) in five acts and a prologue by André Campra, with a libretto by Antoine Danchet. It was first performed at the Académie Royale de Musique (Paris Opera) on 15 January 1712. Based on the story of Idomeneus, King of Crete, the opera blends elements of classical mythology and courtly drama.
