This is not the usual children's book! It is an amazingly imaginative and delightful story for adults and children to share, especially if there is an interest in the celestial bodies. The story is enhanced by illustrations by Egle Bartolini of Disney fame. I strongly recommend the story telling magic of George Yuhasz. Imagine That: The Magic of the Mysterious Lights is a book to treasure.

One of the most precious books in my life This is a book that anyone could relate to their own life. To children, this story surely encourages them to believe in themselves and have a dream that they will be able to be anybody and there is no limit to what they will be able to do. To the parents of those children, it also tells them how important it is to support and believe in their children no matter what kind of dreams or ability they own. To adults like me, it is almost visiting the past when I still had dreams and wishes that I could do anything and believed the world was always full of hope. The story tells me not to give up on anything, just yet. The flashes and sparkles in the sky that Evelyn saw are in fact still right there and if we all try to see them with our mind's eyes, we can see them anytime we want and they give us power to believe in ourselves. Though intangible they are, the strength they give us is more valuable and powerful than something tangible or easy to see. The bottom line of the story reminds me of "Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It also says important things can only be seen with the heart, not the eyes. Such a precious book written by George Yuhasz. I am sure every parent, child, grandchild and adult who has read this book is appreciative to the author, and so am I. I recommend this book to all ages; place it near you for the time when you need oomph.

Reviewed by Amy Raines for Readers' Favorite Imagine That: The Magic Of The Mysterious Lights by George Yuhasz with illustrations by Egle Bartolini is the story of Evelyn, a little girl who is mesmerized by the stars and the wonders of the universe. Evelyn soon discovers that she is seeing lights in the sky that no one else can see, not even her mother and father. The little girl decides to go outside and discovers that the lights are visible again, the ones that no one else sees but her, and a strange voice is calling to her. A magical woman appears in front of Evelyn to help her understand how special she is and how to envision dreams to make them a reality in the future. What goals will Evelyn set? Who is this magical and timeless woman and why did she choose Evelyn? Why is Evelyn the only person that can see her? Imagine That: The Magic Of The Mysterious Lights by George Yuhasz is a wonderful children’s story with a very unique but interesting plot. The characters are absolutely adorable and easy for children to identify with. I love how Yuhasz has used a magical theme as a means of sending a message to children that ‘knowledge is power,’ and the importance of using their imagination to visualize not just setting goals, but achieving them. I also love how the Illustrations by Egle Bartolini tell the story just as smoothly as the words do. I recommend Imagine That to anyone who has children and loves the idea that magic and dreams are what shape a child’s ambitions for their future. I look forward to many more Imagine That stories by Yuhasz in the future.
