About the Author
"I have noticed over the years that this inability to understand Medicare and the related insurance options crosses all subgroups of seniors. It applies if they are rich, poor, or anywhere in between. It applies if college educated or not. It applies if the folks were business owners or employed by some company. It applies for Blacks, Hispanics, as well as Whites. In other words, it applies to everybody. The bottom line of this is simply to express the difficulty older Americans have in getting a grip on their Medicare benefits and the related insurance options.
It will be my intention to present Medicare to you in an elementary level. Now, just because it will be written this way, doesn’t mean it will not contain some abstract concepts or some things that are hard to understand. I didn’t create the confusion. I have simply taken on the challenge to help you understand it."
