Read through the book and didn't find any of the errors that previous reviewers mentioned. I guess that was "version 1" of the book? PROS: Really simple to understand even the tough concepts because the author explains things really clearly. Really nice photography to go along with the topics Not too long, but I feel like I got enough out of the book THE PRICE! I like the quick tips that are intersperced throughout the book CONS: Mostly basic information for newbies, but I think even intermediate photographers would like some of the tips.

As a beginning photographer, this was a really good resource. Most of the photography stuff I read is SOOO complicated, but this guy explained things in really easy ways. Easily worth $5
