I love the badger series the best!

Would have given the book five stars but really... the "c" word? Humor has been a great part of this series since the beginning and can't recall this kind of language being needed to be funny. Otherwise, an entertaining story. Can't wait for Max' s book.

Best book from this author in a while. Loved Shen and Stevie together. Great to have previous characters so intertwined in the story.

In a Badger Way by Shelly Laurenston is the second book in The Honey Badger Chronicles. This book is a stand alone novel that is written in the Pride series shifter world. It is an incredible read because the characters in it are so funny, snarky, and likeable. This book focuses on Stevie Mackilligan the youngest of the three sisters Charlie, Max, and Stevie, who are all honey badger shifters and a panda shifter named Shen. It is so humorous when read it made me LOL and kept my attention because the story is wonderful and full of interesting twists and turns. This book a great addition to the any readers bookshelf. Note that this series is intertwined with the Pride series and the wonderful world of the characters in it. Furthermore, all of the books in these series are a great read and I recommend you read them all!

In a Badger Way is a fun silly read that entertains from start to finish. We get a sweet and cuddly Panda shifter hero (Shen) and a slightly psycho Badger hybrid heroine (Stevie). Both characters are really likable and well written. I enjoyed Shen's constant crunching and Stevie's phobias and anxiety. I felt like the characters belong together and enjoyed their road to happily ever after. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance with a supernatural comedic theme. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!! ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I received a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I collect Shelley’s books in paperback, and I will own this in paperback too! The cover is intense and focused…I love it! This is the 2nd book in the Honey Badger series, and it is for adults only due to the violence of honey badgers and the steamy content. You are also required to have an awesome sense of humor because Shelly’s sense of humor is epic, and I wouldn’t want you to miss it! This is Shen and Stevie’s story, but her sisters and the triplets are back, and we mustn’t forget everyone else I love too that make appearances like Dutch, Blayne, Jess, Bo, lots of wilddogs, and Kyle and his brilliant family. There is an evil scientist who is experimenting on hybrids, and Stevie feels obligated to take him down. I couldn’t put this book down because there was always something happening and a lot of snarky humor that had me laughing so hard that people asked me what was so funny. Max is psychotic and hilarious and gets into more trouble with the cat and bees. I love how the sisters fight constantly, but they are always there for each other and will not put up with anyone messing with Stevie. Stevie is an awesome hybrid and her and Shen make total sense. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the Honey Badger Chronicles!! I highly recommend to any shifter fans who love Shelly’s humor and violence when it comes to shifters! She is one of my favorite authors and I always know I’m in for a great read with her shifter books!

Petite, kind, brilliant, and young, Stevie is nothing like the usual women bodyguard Shen Li is interested in. Even more surprising, the youngest of the lethal, ball-busting, and beautiful MacKilligan sisters is terrified of bears. But she’s not terrified of pandas. She loves pandas. Which means that whether Shen wants her to or not, she simply won’t stop cuddling him. He isn’t some stuffed Giant Panda, ya know! He is a Giant Panda shifter. He deserves respect and personal space. Something that little hybrid is completely ignoring. But Stevie has a way of finding trouble. Like going undercover to take down a scientist experimenting on other shifters. For what, Shen doesn’t want to know, but they’d better find out. And fast. Stevie might be the least violent of the honey badger sisters, but she’s the most dangerous to Shen’s peace of mind. Because she has absolutely no idea how much trouble they’re in . . . or just how damn adorable she is. Review: Shelly really never needs to stop writing! I will say this again....Honey Badgers are freaking awesome! This is the second book in the offshoot series from the Pride series. If you have red the Pride series or even the first book in the Honey Badger Chronicles, you will see a lot of familiar characters. That is one of the things that I like about Shelly's books, characters from other books do not go away. How she keeps track of all of them I will never know, I have a hard enough time keeping track of three If this is your first time reading one of Shelly's books, welcome to the crazy, it is a really fun and sexy place to be. If you like crazy, flawed, sarcastic, and interesting characters you should read her books. This book like her others are full of strong women characters. Stevie is such a fun character she is frightened of bears, super smart and turns into the most amazing hybrid. Poor Shen, does not know what is happening, he is a bodyguard and suddenly he has a girlfriend, without knowing she is her girlfriend. Shen is very patient and a perfect calm for the crazy going on around them There is sex, violence and good times all through. Cannot wait for the next book and these wonderful, interesting characters. 5Stars *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book provided by the publisher.*

Wow, I love Shelly Laurenston books. I smile before I read the first page because, I know that it is going to be another great read by this talented author. I love the way she writes. From the first page until the last the story flows seamlessly. Whether she is writing as Shelly Laurenston or G. A. Aiken her knack for storytelling and wonderful sense of humor keeps you turning the pages until the end and still leaves you wanting more. This excerpt is no exception. I have requested the book and hope that I will be approved to read it in its entirety. I would definitely recommend any and all books that this talented author writes.
