About the Author

JAMES H. EBLEN is a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant. He served from February 1948 until March 1968. While in the Air Force James built the worlds first automatic photo copying machine. He also designed a new program called Manning in Required Specialties which has been adopted Air Force wide. James was also given the task of determining the total number of hours an X-rated (test) aircraft would fly six months in advance of the time of the actual flights. This was to allow time to ship the required pounds of JP-8 fuel. He posted reports exceeding 99.9% accuracy. James completed his last two years at Edwards Air Force Base, where he was in charge of Center Scheduling at the Air Force Flight Test Center. James was replaced by five personnel since it was determined to be too much stress for others.
