Charles Jerry Williams, Jr. was born February 1963 in Hartsville, South Carolina where he grew and worked in his parent's paint and hardware store, on the family vineyard, and as a stock clerk at a local grocery store. After graduating from The Citadel, The Military Collage of South Carolina, he served as a commissioned officer in United States Navy and later started a computer consulting business serving Fortune 500 clients, the U.S. military, and numerous small businesses.
Dr. Williams accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1974 and surrendered to God's call to full-time vocational ministry in 1991. He subsequently served as a Christian educator and Pastor, in Kentucky and South Carolina, for more than 16 years.
In addition to his Bachelor's of Science from The Citadel, Dr. Williams holds a Masters of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theology Seminary, and a Doctorate in Education from Walden University.
Dr. Williams published works include more than twenty journal and magazine articles, and he has contributed to three books.
He is married to Carla Blackstock Williams of Charleston, South Carolina. The couple have four children but no grandchildren (YET!).
