Their hands and minds the shapers of their zen.

About the Author

Andrew Appelhans was raised in Colorado, joining the Army immediately following high school in 2019.

While on a combat deployment to Syria from September 2021 to June 2022, he wrote the original manuscript of In the Garden of the Mind by hand on notepads.

In his spare time, he reads and spends time with those in his unit.

This is his first book.
