Inside Out by Andrew Grey

Former mercenary Bull Krebbs now heads up security at his nightclub in Harrisburg, PA. Working the door night after night, he's seen it all. Though tough on the outside, he's a little hurt that people find him unapproachable. Then he pulls a cute twink out of line to perform a random search, and he's surprised when the guy giggles and squirms.

Zach Spencer, graphic artist, twink, and seriously ticklish, isn't intimidated by Bull. He's in awe, and when Bull saves Zach from being trampled on the dance floor, Zach finds his inspiration for the superhero in his graphic novel.

Soon Zach wants more and makes his move by asking Bull on a date. Though small, he has a backbone of steel. He'll need it—their happily ever after is thwarted at every turn, including by Bull's interloping mother showing up unannounced and enemies from Bull's past threatening to pull him to the other side of the world.

Buy it for the it for the story! I'm not going to lie, as soon as I saw Jesse Jackman on the cover of this book I knew I had to have it. I mean look at the man he is H.O.T. hot!! Not to mention that he seems like an incredibly nice guy from what I know if him on social media. Add in the writing of Andrew Grey and you knew this was going to be a winner. Bull needs something in his life to shake it up a bit. He is very boring when we first meet him. You can tell he is a good guy that has just gotten comfortable and really isn't making an effort anymore. Enter Zach! Zach is everything Bull is not. He is not very assertive, he is very ticklish, and he's a virgin. But he is everything that Bull needs. This is another beautifully written book from Grey. I like the way that he takes time for his relationships to happen, he builds a foundation before throwing them into bed. But oh Honey, when he does get them there it is super smexy and their chemistry is palpable!  His characters also seem to bring out the best in each other so we see Bull get a little softer and we see Zach mature and gain more confidence. I enjoyed Zach's cast of friends and the support they gave him. I am really hoping we get books for not only them but Bull's friend Harry as well. I do have to tell you though that I wanted to crawl into this book and smack Bull's mother most of the time. The woman drove me just a bit crazy along with Zach's uncle. There are a couple of different story lines happening in this book which made it a fast and intriguing read. Inside Out is funny, sexy and a must have for any fan of romance!

If the cover doesn't pull you in then then the story truly will. I loved Bull, and Zach. I would love see if the rest of the gang makes an appearence with there own book. Maybe hooking up with Bull's friends when they have there wedding. *hint, hint*

This is the second book I’ve read from Andrew Grey and I have to say, I now definitely consider myself a fan. In Inside Out, Bull is a part-owner and head bouncer of a gay nightclub. He has the body and expression to scare anyone with just a glance and takes his job seriously. Until he meets Zach. Zach isn’t scared by him at all. Instead, when he frisks him the first night, looking for contraband alcohol or drugs, instead of scaring him, he sends the guy into a paroxysm of giggles from being tickled. He doesn’t know what to do about the small guy who isn’t scared of him. With his life and his history, everyone but his best friend and co-owner of the club is terrified of him. Zach’s been through hell, but he refuses to go through life as a victim. He dreams of a better future and when he meets Bull, he’s instantly captured by this bear who saved him from being trampled on the dance floor of the club. As an artist, he instantly sets Bull up as the hero of a comic book he creates. Unable to stop thinking about the strange man who wasn’t afraid of him, Bull finds himself doing things he wouldn’t normally do: like meeting Zach for lunch to discuss the comic book and asking him out on a date. In no time, he finds himself falling hard and with his past, that is the last thing he needs. Both men have a past and one after the other, they both come back to haunt them. I think one of the things I love about this book is that both man had a rough past and they both worked hard to overcome them. I have to say, an added bonus is that in this book, the author had what could have bene a really bad man actually act the way I would expect someone like Sheik Rashad to act, instead of making him totally evil. I appreciated that intensely. The epilogue was sweet and the author even threw something I wasn’t expecting – which totally made me smile. And no, I’m not going to tell you what it was. You should read the book to find out. I would say this is a wonderfully sweet M/M romance for someone who doesn’t like a lot of angst (which I don’t), enjoys romantic erotic scenes, and likes the drama to be fixed quickly once it happens. A definite 4-star book in my opinion. Reviewed by a-nony-mouse for Crystal's Many Reviewers *Copy BOUGHT for review*
