I liked Insider enough but it just wasn't Olivia's best work. I absolutely love her Sinners & Sole Regret series but something with Insider was just off. Toni is sent on tour with Exodus End to put together an interactive biography for the band. (THIS should not be a spoiler. If you've read anything by Olivia you know there's going to be tons of sex). First thing that didn't sit well was having been a virgin, she meets Logan, is in bed with him in under an hour & she has not a clue she still has her V-Chip It was a bit slow up to the 40% mark but it did pick up and I did enjoy the rest of the book.

Toni had been taking care of her younger sister Birdie who had Down’s Syndrome. But then Toni got a break to write a biography for the rock band Exodus End. She had to go on tour with the band for a month to learn about the members of the band and the touring itself. Logan plays the bass guitar for the band. There is an instant attraction between Logan and Toni. Although Toni has low self esteem and still a virgin. I liked the story and plot quite a bit even though it was a little predictable . But I did like how the story played out. I really liked the characters. Toni had a lot of ups and downs in this story. For me Owen stood out as a character . I recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

Innocent to Confident -- Aloof to Well Centered I take my reading seriously, so reading a book based on erotica is not my forte. That all said, I love books about the music industry and this was one I couldn’t pass up. I was thoroughly glad that I chose to read Insider: Exodous End World Tour, Book 1. My affinity for this book began page one however a few hours in, I was getting irritated by the amount of sexual material as it was overkill. Toni’s absolute awe of the things that could be done sexually was very off putting as well . It was frustrating to hear her say things constantly like wow, how does that work, or oh, I didn’t know that could be done. I often questioned her upbringing which was on a farm primarily isolated with her little sister Birdie, but even that was like, okay this girl who’s been through college, has watched porn and masturbates is really not that naively innocent. The portrayal of Toni’s loss of innocence once again came to my question in her later deeply sexual journal entries with her new found confidence. It was just a very overnight change for this character. Another mild irritant while reading this book was the author’s use of random words that seemed misplaced, but there were only a couple handfuls of those. By mid-book, with the amount of sex, I considered my options: whether I should keep reading or move on to something else. It was both Logan’s and Toni’s supreme character development, the small uncovering of the band’s secrets, the missing journal and Susan’s role in the whole novel that helped me to forge through. I am glad I did. Insider: Exodous End World Tour became everything I could have asked for in a music industry fiction novel. By book’s end, the characters were fully developed and had made mass changes, there was just enough drama to keep the reader turning the page, and it ended up having more of a literary feel as Logan and Toni both dealt with their family issues. The end Birdie storyline felt rushed and very out of place for the novel, but a necessary evil to move the plot forward. I wish the author would have taken more time with this end and the telling of it to help Toni progress to the next level. Birdie making the decisions she did in her quick manner and Toni’s seemingly little care about those decisions and their implications seemed out of character for them both. Even Logan, who isn’t the quickest to pick up on human emotion questioned Toni on how she was feeling about these events before she really delved in, in a paragraph or two. Also, the band’s, especially Regan Elliot’s quick change of heart seemed rushed and needed to be fleshed out as well. Despite all this, the book became one of my favorites and I can barely wait for book two to come out. While I am new to Olivia Cunning, I plan on reading the Sinner’s series and I understand she writes racier stuff. I think with Cunning’s ability to turn a plot the way she does and to see human needs, wants and desires, paint a word description picture and offer just enough detail to allow her reader to make their own pictures without stupefying them, she has a great career not only in erotica and romance but in many other genres as well. The audiobook presentation of this book really gave the characters a new depth and I would strongly recommend it. - Review by Becca Howell

Olivia Cunning Knows How Write About Rock Stars!! I absolutely loved this book. OMG Logan and Toni were the cutest ever. It was so great to get to meet all the guys of Exodus End, and I cannot wait to read each and everyone of their books. This series is going to be just as good as the Sinners on Tour series. Olivia Cunning really knows how to write about naughty rockers!! Great job on the start of this new series.

I honestly didn't think that I would find a series about a rock band that I liked more than the Sinners Series but I did. It just so happens to also be written by Olivia Cunning. I absolutely loved this first book on the Exodus End Series. Logan is my new favorite book rocker. (Jared & Shannon Leto will always be my favorite real rockers). Can't wait to see what the future holds for the rest of the Exodus End guys! Oh, by the way, this book was just as hot as usual for Ms. Cunning! Hot enough to melt the covers off the book!

Toni is a sheltered journalist, that has cared for disabled little sister since she was born, and as a result is a 25 year old virgin. She has decided to the safety of her family farm, to tour and write an interactive book about the heavy metal group, Exodus End. There she meets entire crew, including Logan, their bassist. He is a stereotypical rock star, Adrenalin addicted and sleeping with lots of admirers. He is instantly attracted to her and is able to sleep her, and an unconventional relationship is born. Both main character are insecure about parts of their life, but is able to grow because of the other. All of Logan's band mates are very entertaining and we get to see the Sinners from previous novels. I enjoyed Toni and Logan's story and look forward to reading the rest the series. Be warned, Ms. Cunning is the author of many erotic romances, and this one combines both sweet and heat! I was given a free copy for an honest review.

I received a complimentary ARC from the author in exchange for a review. I really enjoyed this rock 'n roll romance, featuring Toni Nichols and Logan Schmidt. Toni, who has spent the last 10 years at home raising her special needs little sister, is finally ready to pursue her dreams. She joins the superstar metal band Exodus End on the road to write an interactive book about the band, and the attraction is immediate between bass player Logan and Toni. Besides Toni and Logan, we get a good introduction to the other members of the band and the secrets they're hiding from the fans and the press. All the characters are well-written and vibrant. There is humor, especially when Logan is being jealous and territorial of Toni, all the while insisting they are just friends. Toni is awkward but sweet and determined in her quest to build a career and life away from her Mother and sister. Of course a bump in the road is inevitable. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, starring Reagan, which is due in 2016.

Toni has lived a bit of a sheltered life but now it is time for her to break routine. She finally has the opportunity to go out on a business trip that is does not feature stuffy business suits and formal meetings. Instead, she is boarding the tour bus of the hottest rock band at the moment, Exodus End. Toni is a little intimidated of the band members Max, Dare, Logan, Steve, and Reagan. However, she is determined to do the best job possible in creating an interactive biography that could potentially have a big impact on mother’s publishing company. The first day finds Logan and Toni having and undeniable attraction that allows Toni to break her own boundaries and begin on a physical relationship that she has never experienced before. As time goes on, feelings of friendship begin to shift to something deeper. At the same time, band members are exposing secrets that are typically hidden because Toni’s inner compassion connects with each individual. Despite promises, some painful emotions are revealed. This novel allows both readers of Olivia Cunning’s previous series, Sinners on Tour, and new readers a fun peek at what happens behind the scenes as bands travel to perform across North America. The writer has a fantastic ability to balance letting the reader get to know the main characters but also experience the larger than life personalities of the other band mates. As each band member is slated to have their own story, it provides a great foundation of getting to know each individuals personality. As the roadies begin to pack all the equipment away as the novel pages end, you will be begging for an encore.

4.5 out of 5 stars Entertaining, fun, and off the charts HOT! Loved it! Great introduction that pulled me in. I had so much fun reading this. I really liked Toni, she was sweet and caring and way naive in the beginning and it was really entertaining watching her come out of her shell, experience new things, get bolder, and really stand up for herself. Logan was so sweet, sexy, and flirty. I couldn't get enough of him. I really liked those moments where you could see and feel how much he likes Toni, it was so heartfelt. I love their relationship, how it developed and grew. There were so many times I laughed out loud, it was awesome. Besides it being entertaining and well developed, it was extremely hot. I need new adjectives to describe the extreme intensity of these two and their combustible sexy times because “explosively hot” doesn't cover it. It was make you squirm in your seat hot! I loved all the guys in the band, they each had such distinct personalities. I liked the other characters as well and getting to meet the Sinners. This was my first Olivia Cunning book and I am beyond happy with it. Can’t wait to read more by this author. I thought this was laid out well, nice back stories for both characters and build. Good development. Sometimes Toni's naivety seemed extreme and Logan seemed a little to clueless in the relationship department but I didn’t really mind, all in all it worked for me and I couldn't get to the end fast enough. I just enjoyed reading it, so fun and sexy. Great ending, nice amount of drama. Everything wrapped up nicely, all my questions where answered and I am loving the conclusion. I can't wait for more Exodus End! Perfect story at the perfect time that left me smiling and super happy! Loved it! Complimentary copy received for honest review.

I am a diehard fan of the Sinners on Tour series so you can bet I was ecstatic when I saw that there was going to be a series for Exodus End. I freaking LOVE the men in these books! There’s plenty of humor, some angst and/or drama, and some seriously hot sex. Logan and Toni seem to be two completely different personalities but as the story progresses you start to see how well they fit together. Their personalities really complement each other’s and that is definitely more evident as Toni gains some confidence. She has this wry sense of humor that comes out when you least expect it and Logan is such a goofball. I really enjoyed getting inside their heads and it was very easy to immerse myself in their world. There was quite a lot going on in this book but there always is in these first books to a new series. Plus Olivia Cunning did an awesome job of integrating everything together really well but also putting a strong female character in the kind of lead role of the band’s women as the series progresses. I absolutely loved the story line and characters were fantastic. I can’t wait to read book 2. 5 out of 5 stars!

What happens when a good girl meets an adorable bad boy rocker? You got it! Sparks fly! This is new series from Olivia Cunning has all the magic of her Sinners series. I am describing it as spellbinding and humorous because our author has written a delightful and sensual story of life behind the scenes of the Exodus End metal band. The focus is on bassist Logan - who has a spark of his own- and is the funniest of this group of delicious men. Into the wolves den is thrown a young and somewhat awkward Toni Nichols. This is her first assignment in the field as a journalist for her mother's publishing company, She has to prove that she is ready to partner with her mother running the company and this assignment is the make or break it moment for her. Being a virgin and totally enthralled with Toni from the first minute, she does not stand a chance against his charms. Logan is as adorable as he is physically gorgeous. He uses his funny and mischievous side to charm and create a mask covering how much he needs for people to love him for who he really is. As always, our author gives a close and personal look at her characters. They become three dimensional as we read about their struggles, joys, and losses. As with Sinners, they become family members that we will not soon forget. They are winners!

I love Oliva's series, but I didn't know if I could love these guys even half as much as the Sinners, but I did! I can't wait to learn more about each bandmate.

I'm thrilled to say that this book was phenomenal. I loved getting to meet the crew of Exodus End with their quirks and a little bit of side story with each character. Once I picked it up there wasn't a chance of me putting it down. There is no doubt Olivia will pack this new series full of the fun, thrills, tears and scorching hot sex that puts her at the top of the romance genre. Olivia is, without a doubt, in the one-click category. Best Book of the Year!
