Introduction To Public Health

This book provides a comprehensive overview of public health. It includes discussions of epidemiological investigation, biomedical research, environmental assessment, analysis of individual and group behavior, massive data collection efforts and policy developments. This book will discuss the role of public health in the larger health care delivery system and the political role of public health specifically the role of state and federal governments versus the rights of individuals.
