Kids and parents alike will rejoice in this lively read-aloud picture book, as the main character runs into (and away from) a tiger over and over again as the plot gets sillier and sillier. Perfect for acting out while reading, It's a Tiger! offers just the right amount of excitement without being too scary, and a sweet ending with a bit of a twist.

Cute book. Very animated.
I love David LaRochelle's books but this is a particular favorite. With every page turn a feature appears that could be a snake, a branch, but it's always...a tiger! Funny and fabulously illustrated, it was a hit a couple of years ago at storytime, so much so that I'll be featuring it again!
As a grandmother of four little girls, ages 1, 2, 3 and 4, this book is as much fun to read as it for the kids to listen to. With just the right amount of interaction and excitement, it holds their attention all the way through and they especially love the twist at the end. The bright and bold illustrations add just the right touch to each page. Thanks David, for another great book ... look forward to many more imaginative and wonderful books from you.
