Jack Jouett's Ride

Jack Jouett's Ride illustrates the story of an historical character who saved fourteen signers of the Declaration of independence from being captured at a critical moment in the fight for independence. He was sitting outside the Cuckoo Tavern, when he heard the sound of British Cavalry on the road to Charlottesville. Captain Banastre Tarleton was called "King George's Hunting Leopard for his brutality toward captured generals.
