When I first got into japanese cooking I discovered the ceramic hot pots and of course i wanted to be authentic so i went and got this book Once I found all the things I needed (its hard to find some of the ingredients if you live like no where near an asian store) but if you can get what you need this book is soo fun, I made the halibut hot pot and the kabocha pumpkin hot pot,etc Its worth the money to get, I really want the nook version my hard copy had a run in with some liquid so I need to buy it again but nook color copy this time

I'm living in Japan and having read this book, I was more comforable in a Japanese grocery store. The meatballs in the chanko nabe were awesome. Living in rural Japan, this book was great!
