I liked this book. Nature is my thing. Hats are not. However, I thought this story was adorable. Jennie was able to keep her manners about her even when she was dissapointed.

This book is about a girl who receives a gift that she is not too excited about and how she deals with it. I would use this book to show how to still say please and thank you even if it¿s not what you wanted and also how to make the best of any situation.
