About the Author

Kali M. Hague is Partner and a commercial pilot and flight instructor. Ms. Hague helps her clients structure their business operations to maximize profitability while maintaining regulatory compliance. She works closely with DOT and FAA leadership and the aviation associations in Washington, D.C. to find creative solutions to her client's regulatory challenges. Ms. Hague received a L.L.M. in International and European Tax Law. She worked inhouse for a Part 135 charter operator and aerial mapping operation and was the Regulatory Compliance Officer of Blue Feather Charter, LLC. Ms. Hague gained experience in airport operations and management while working for an airport authority at a major general aviation airport in the Midwest. She has written feature articles for Business & Commercial Aviation, Airports, and Twin & Turbine, and she is a frequent speaker at industry seminars and events.
