Judgment: Kian (The Judgment Duet, part 1) is a great story. This romance is gritty, bittersweet, and one heck of a cliffhanger at the end. First Thought when Finished: Judgment: Kian (The Judgment Duet, part 1) by Lora Ann is now my favorite written by her. Would have never guessed that going in but WOW what a story! Quick Thoughts: Loved the characters in this book! One of the funniest lines I read was a thought by Altros “Oh, what a sight to behold. He had a sudden craving for popcorn as he sat in a nearby tree, enjoying the show.” This is a must read and I can’t wait for part 2!
Five star thrilling romance is nothing new for Lora Ann. However, when you add the supernatural in - WOW! These characters really jump right off the page! Kian, Angel turned Human, is cast down to Earth to protect a child who will will be powerful in his own right against the mechanisms of evil. Here he meets Afton and soon learns there is more to her mysterious background. In a race against time, Kian and Afton set off to find the child. Kian calls upon both his Earthly and Heavenly warrior brothers to fight a battle they aren’t sure they can win. The characters are beautifully written with wonderful human flaws. Lora Ann has created a new world where you can believe Angles are just as human as we are. A truly enthralling story that leaves you looking over the edge of a cliff and wanting more. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend!
