Tragedy strikes the gorilla kingdom. Silver, the beloved ruler and alpha male, is no longer. Noko, Silver’s Machiavellian and unscrupulous brother, can’t wait to be the next alpha male - the next king of the jungle. However, Silver’s last dying wish was that his soon-to-be-born child (carried by Joly the Queen) should rule the kingdom.
To ensure that Silver’s last wish doesn’t happen, Noko seeks the help of Golila-the-mandrill-witch to cast a spell on the future baby ruler. Golila casts a spell that will make the gorilla baby be born blind, deaf and mute, and thus preventing him or her from ruling. In a twist of fate, Queen Joly gives birth to a set of male triplets. Unfortunately one is born blind, another deaf and the last one mute.
Ahead of the triplets lies an Odysseus journey full of dangers, surprises and learning, but the question looms: Who should be the next king? As the growing gorillas ponder over the answer, they encounter both friends and foes. The triplets are tested every step of the way with valuable life lessons along their expedition.
