It was a great story line but the female character was very weak/washed-out for such an emotional issue.

Well written story, jam-packed full of raw emotion. Can never have too much of that in a great book!

Kennedy and Grayson Legend became best friends at the age of 14, when Grayson tore the pocket off his t-shirt, for Kennedy to use on her bleeding lip. Both are children of abusive alcoholic fathers, though Kennedy's is a wealthy attorney and Grayson's is a bum. Then on her birthday, during summer break before Kennedy's junior year in college, things changed. After she told him that she loved him, he walked out on her and would not return any of her phone calls. Six years later, he is a top MMA fighter and she an interior designer. Her best friend from college, Sarah, takes her to Vegas for her birthday, surprising her with tickets to Legends fight. Sarah knows that Kennedy loves to watch the fights, but doesn't know why. When Grayson sees her at his fight, he decides he is not going to let her go. But they both have secrets. Can Kennedy forgive Grayson for walking out on her and not listening to any of her calls? When Grayson finds out why, can he forgive her? Are they bound to hurt each other again, or find the feelings that made them best friends to begin with? This is a well written story, with wonderful characters, dealing with very difficult situations. Most readers will figure out part of Kennedy's secret before it is actually revealed, but that does not take away anything from the story.

You will not regret picking up this book Just one Regret is a story by the very prolific Stacey Lynn, She has written about love and loss in the other books and they always have twist…the heroine loses her memory, or tragic accidents occur, or we are swept in the world of bikers and their families. This book has elements for Just one Song and Don’t lie to me….and I was so happy to see some of those connections in this book. Kennedy and Grayson met on a swing and it could be said that it is a metaphor for their lives. This book has it all love sex, friendships misunderstandings, power and hearbreak. I will say that Kennedy at times was too submissive for me and did not stand up enough for her choices when Grayson pushed however I can understand her reasoning and her guilt. I have to warn you you will cry. So have some tissues at the ready. I found this book to be very thoughtful, with twists and complex characters. . It is an emotional ride from start to finish

I received a ARC for an honest review. 6 years ago Kennedy didn't just loose her best friend she lost so much more. Grayson walked away from his best friend 6 years ago after she opened her heart to him. 6 years later and a chance meeting will they be able to leave the past behind them and move forward? Will they be able to forgive all the hurt? This was a very powerful story!! It's about regret, loss, sacrifice, forgiveness, and LOVE!! I loved the storyline and the characters created for this book. And the meaning of this book was so strong. I highly recommend!

First off I have to say that I love Stacey Lynn's books. This one is no exception. Kennedy and Grayson story was heartbreaking for me in the beginning. I felt for both of them and all they went thru but when they meet again the sparks still fly. Loved the ending. Great characters and I think a perfect title for this book

Kennedy has had a hard childhood and has had to make some even harder life decisions. Grayson also had a hard childhood but has made something of himself in the ring. They were best friends but now they both have secrets and regrets, will it bring them together or tear them apart? I enjoyed this book, it was a quick, steamy, emotional, heartfelt read. It has a little of everything in it. Friends to lovers, second chance romance, heartbreak, forgiveness, understanding, hope...all that and a sexy MMA fighter - what more could you ask for in one book?

Wow I'm so glad I decided to answer an email asking for people who would like to early read this book. It was just amazing and outstanding story. I must admit I didn't think I would like it this much as I'm not a big MMA fan. Was I wrong, this book floored me it was so real. The author did an amazing job of getting me invested in the story. Once I started I didn't want to put it down until I was finished. I laughed, I cried, I smiled I just all around loved this book. This one made me realize what a good writer this author is and I must check out the rest of her work. I have since read book 1&2 of this series and still am in love with this author's work
