I got started reading this series and have enjoyed the stories as they build on each other or if you only read one, you still would love the story. The book is easy to read and understand. The characters are, as usual witty and difficult, but love prevails. I have been reading regency novels for sometime now and laugh at how the strong men who vow they will never fall always fall very hard! I enjoy a book that transports me to that period in time, even with the strict rules they had to adhere to, they still manage to fall in love. Looking forward to the next Lavinia Kent book.
