My job as a SEAL has always been to go in and save the day.

But even heroes fall. Even heroes make mistakes.

My only saving grace was Gin Sullivan.

My knock out best friend who wasn’t afraid to tell me the truth even when it hurt.

She’d pick me up when I was wallowing in my own stupidity.

It wasn’t hard for me to fall for her.

Any man would.

She was beautiful, smart, and everything I’d ever wanted.

I had plans to tell her that, but a bullet to the gut silenced me and Gin got tired of waiting.

Now I have a new mission, one that I can’t fail:

Do whatever it takes to make Gin mine forever.

Wow, what a great book. Kneel Down is a smoking hot, suspenseful read which had me gripped from the first to the last chapter. Kneel Down certainly wrung emotions out of me as I was reading and you could tell that Dale and Gin truly were meant to be together. I fell for Dale right from the start, he was everything that I could imagine wanting and needing in my life and so much more. His protective alpha tendencies made him a swoon worthy hero. I loved the friendship that he and Gin had and it was gratifying to sees it develop in to so much more. There is so much misunderstanding between Dale and Gin about their feelings for one another that it almost leapt of the pages. The chemistry between Dale and Gin is scorching and intense.  These two authors obviously work well together as I was unable to determine where one author ended and the other picked up; a sign of a great collaboration .

4.5 Stars for Kneel Down book 3 in The Nailed Down Series and once again another great read from the talented duo of Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler. This is a very emotional read right from the first chapter through to the final page, it’s a story about a couple who are truly meant to be together and if they can not accept that life would be a whole lot easier for Dale Hunter and Gn Sullivan. Gin has been Dale’s best friend for what feels like forever, he has always been off limits because he was married so being his best friend was the best Gin could hope for until his wife left him and Gin was left to help Dale pick up the pieces...... This book has all the feels you expect in a great read, it’s also impossible to tell which author wrote what so that in itself is a tribute to great writing. This is a love story with plenty of twists and turns, trust and communication issues don’t help when it comes to Dale and Gin’s relationship but when it comes to the crunch Dale steps up and does what is needed to win back the woman he really loves. Characters with depth and sizzling chemistry help to make this a book you won’t be able to put down. Looking forward to what’s next from this duo.

Wow, this was a great book!! Kneel Down was a smoking hot, suspenseful read, that had me wanting to keep reading. It also made me want to smack some of the characters. Gin and Dale got emotions out of me that I was not expecting to have. Also while reading you could tell that Gin and Dale were meant for each other, even if they had their struggles to see that. Over all this book and these two authors are amazing. I really can't wait to see what comes next.

Kneel Down is everything bit the hot and suspense you can ever need in a book! Wow! These ladies had me so fixated in the story I just had to sit down and not stop till I was fully done with it. By that point, I was in love with Dale my heart just skipped a beat!

This is Dale’s book, the the quiet, stoic yummy SEAL. And let me tell ya, the poor guy was put through the wringer!! He & Gin have always been kinda going round like a merry go round with each other, but just when things start to happen, a serious of unfortunate events happens to continue to keep them apart. I did a lot of internal yelling on this one, a lot of invisible shoulder shaking & a whole lotta hoping. These characters took me on an emotional ride, and Eden & Chelle did a very good job making me want to pull my hair out out & turn the the page lol. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Man oh man Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler did it again. They brought us such a wonderful story. Now let me start by saying there was a couple of times I got so mad at Gin I had to put the book down. I do not know why I did not get mad at Dale but I didn’t. I understood where Gin was coming from but I also felt she was not being very understanding when it came to the whole situation when it came to Dale, but that is just me. Now saying all that let me say I did love Gin. She was this fiery redhead that was full of sass and attitude but along with that was a woman with a lot of passion. She truly was a caring person. Dale was very hot and sexy. I think he was your typical man that had served, meaning he had a hard time expressing his feelings. But I feel when he fell he fell hard. He was loyal to the fault. Someone that you would want on your side and someone you would never want to be on his bad side. I have to say I did not know how I felt about Johnny Carelli but by the end of the book I will say I came to find finally conclusion about him. Sorry I will not tell you my final thoughts on him because I do not want to give to much away. This was truly an amazing story and so happy I got a chance to read the book.

An angsty romance that'll have you fighting for a second chance at love. The story starts out with an intense action scene, followed by all the drama you can handle. Gin and Dale won my heart with their amazing journey.

Favorite Quote: Words always get in the way. They did. Somehow, it was the words we didn’t say that injured the most. It was the silence that kept us from what we want. My Review: I struggled to finish this one, not that the book was bad, it just wasn’t aligned with or palatable to my personal taste as constant conflict just isn’t my jam. The angsty storylines were missing the critical element of wit and levity that I had come to expect from these talented authors and instead appeared to be a repetitive cycle of 90% conflict, reticence, and forfeiture. I also failed to connect with the painfully stubborn and annoying morose characters, I found them exasperating. However, for readers who have a proclivity for angsty and quarrelsome tales with a few sizzling scenes of hot steamy sex, this would be a quick and tasty treat.

Dale and Gin story is one for the ages. She has always been there for him and he has put others before her. They get together and he can't remember and now Dale has to fight for what he wants. Gin has decided that second best is not good enough for her. The chemistry between these to is smoking, Great addition to series.

I just loved this story of Dale and Gin. And when Johnny got in the mix, I was thinking yes. But I guess I just have to wait for his story. Eden and Chelle did an excellent job with this series. And as always, I hate for it to end. But I will always have rereads.

Having read books 1 & 2 of the "Nailed Down" series, I was a little familiar with Dale and "Gin" and was glad to read their story. This is one of those books that I started out LOVING, then wanted to strangle both protagonists for their lack of communication and finished with a satisfied sigh. I definitely enjoyed the journey. The characters in this story are, for the most part, light and breezy to read. Each has their own baggage and bring angst to the table, but neither is overly complicated (they'd like to think they are) and watching them navigate their way through the change in their relationship was cool to witness. These authors co-write in a seamless way. I'm not sure if they write alternate POV's or collaborate together or how their writing process works, but I can never tell who is writing what. It is all in the same "voice" which is not always the case when I've read multiple author written stories before. I recommend this series and while I think it would be a fuller reading experience read in order, you won't feel left out if you start with KNEEL DOWN.

If you are looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, raise your temperature and make you swoon, you have found it. The story will pull you in and the characters are easy to connect with. I loved Dale and Gin. I thought that they had amazing chemistry and that their attraction was intense. Of course there was drama and angst as these two struggled to move from friends to lovers. Plenty of emotional turmoil ensues in the process as does some steamy scenes. A simply wonderful read.

Holy hotness! I loved Dale and Gin's story!!! It's an emotional roller coaster ride from the the very first page!!! This is an intense, emotional, guilt ridden, lusty, drama filled story with plenty of misunderstandings, miscommunications, tons of snark and come to Jesus moments that captured my heart! You will want to smack them both at times, but the chemistry they have can't be denied. It's SOOO GOOOD!!!

Really Good Story. Really Great Series. Dale and Gin! Geez, their romance is as tough as they are. Best Friends to Lovers to estranged friends to enemies to acquaintances to sweethearts to TRUE LOVE. The emotional uncertainty this story delivers had me glued to my kindle. I never knew what was coming next, I know Dale and Gin have feelings for one another but a lot of obstacles keep getting in their way. One minute I was like "YESS Finally" then it quickly became "NOOoooooo" Kneel Down was angsty but it was also funny heartwarming and swoon-worthy. Love the pace of the story. Love the unique setting. Love the continuous background stories that leave me so intrigued by the other characters that I am left dying for their book. Love Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler's collaboration.

I enjoyed reading this book! As a fan of the first two books in this series I am happy to read about Dale and Gin's story. I had so many emotions while reading this and I love how it ends! I recommend this book !!!!!

This is the third book in the Nailed Down series, however, it can absolutely be read on a stand alone basis. Kneel Down was quite a quick read but I have to say, I did enjoy it and I think that this was my favourite of the series so far. The story flowed well and it was lovely and fast paced so it kept my attention throughout. I can’t say that I really felt connected to the characters but they were likeable and I did find myself routing for them albeit, I could have bashed their heads together a time or two. Overall a nice easy read and I really look forward to more from this series. I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I have opted to leave a review.

This is the third book in the series. I would recommend reading Nailed Down and Tied Down first before reading this one. Dale and Gin had me swooning. An emotional, sexy, page turner. I can’t get enough. And I can’t wait for the next one. If you love Chelle and Eden like I do, you absolutely have to read this! And if you haven’t then you must! Chelle and Eden never disappoint. ???

4 1/2 stars. When these two authors team up they make magic together. This is an awesome series and Kneel Down is such a great addition to it. I love a good friends to lovers story and Dale and Gin's story is just so good. Of course they do not take the easy path to a HEA and my emotions were all over the place, but luckily they do finally get on the right path. These two have chemistry for days, but they also have some serious miscommunications that do not make things easy. I love Dale! He is such a complex man but the one thing he knows is that he does not want to lose his best friend Gin. He has much to do to make sure she knows how he really feels and how much she means to him. Gin is such a strong character, I really like her. She has no intentions of ever being with someone who cannot be honest with her and honest about his feelings. Great characters, great story! Can't wait for Johnny's story next.

WOW!!! What a great read!!! This one had me all over the place. I could have swore these two were never going to get their crap together! Dale and Gin just couldn't seem to find their happy place for the life of them! I guess you could call this a best friends to not quite enemies to lovers and take it around again book. But I loved it!!! And I loved Dale's commitment to the people that matter to him, no matter what they have put him through. He's somewhat broken and gun shy but when push comes to shove he'll be there when he's needed the most. And Gin, tough as nails with a heart of gold! But oh my, she can be stubborn as all get out! I'm so happy these two were finally able to pull their heads out of their respective behinds and listen to each other!!! Fantastic book!!!

Kneel Down is an entertaining read with wonderful characters and a great storyline. I will admit that I have not read the previous two books in this series, but I had absolutely no trouble following along. In fact, I loved the secondary characters (Kiel, Kit, Cara, Kane) so much that I downloaded the other 2 books so that I could have their stories! What is not to love about Dale as he is a sexy Navy SEAL, loyal, loving, and protective of those he loves. He was burned pretty bad by his horrible ex-wife and his best friend, Gin, was there to support him and pick up the pieces. Gin is a caring friend but she wants more. The two of them have great chemistry, but they really needed to pull their heads out of their behinds! I wanted to shake both of them at times - basically lock them in a room together and tell them to stop being so stubborn. Gin and Dale start off as best friends and I do love a good friends-to-lovers books, but Kneel Down is also about second chances. I love that this book illustrates how lack of communication or misconstrued conversations can greatly affect a relationship. It also shows that actions can be louder than words, but sometimes those words do need to be spoken. Overall, I enjoyed Kneel Down as it had a great storyline that moved at a good pace as well as likable and well-developed characters. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series. I received this book for free.

Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler have clearly found their writing groove with Kneel Down. The 3rd in the Nailed Down series is definitely the best thus far and I was completely wrapped up the angst-filled love story that is Gin and Dale. These two best friends are most definitely feeling more for the other and through some miscommunication and more than a few misunderstandings, not to mention unfortunate circumstances, they almost miss out on what would ultimately be, one beautiful romance. There is more than enough push and pull from both Gin and Dale with a world of hurt between them that Dale is having a hard time coming to grips with. That poor guy put his life on the line for his good friends, and in the process lost the only woman who had ever truly meant something to him. Although this story keeps Dale and Gin apart much of the time, which in some books would drive me crazy, this aspect was executed perfectly by Bliss and Butler. We get past and present and explanations as to why Gin had to leave with a broken heart, with Dale seemingly puzzled by his bestie's actions. But it's tied together really well as touching memories finally come to light that bring about that 'a-ha' moment for both of them. Both Gin and Dale are great characters, and I was rooting for them to put me out of my misery and finally find their way back to each other, even if that could only be as friends. There is a indisputable heat between Gin and Dale that gave this book the sexy it needed and the passion in each others's eyes only fueled the fire between them. It's damn HOT! The entire Nailed Down crew is present and accounted for and are very important to this current story. A secondary character who turned out to be very endearing instead of a threat to Gin and Dale's happiness gets his story told next and I am really looking forward to that one. Really well down, Bliss and Butler gave their all with Kneel Down and I happily give it a big 5 stars!

This story is Dale and Gin's and it was actually pretty angsty. Their back and forth kept me just waiting for their stubborn butts to get together lol. I loved Gin's strength though and Dale's sweetness. And I loved getting to catch up with past characters. And there's some mystery that leaves me wanting more

Dale and Gin are a passionate couple whose friendship turned into something more. Gin was always there for Dale when he needed her and she knew in her heart that he was the one for her. Gin has a hard time trusting anyone and I feel she never really gave Dale a chance to profess his feelings to her. She would rather runaway then sit quietly and listen to him. She seemed to only think of herself and not about how her behavior had affected Dale. When it comes to relationships love, trust and communication are what Gin needs to know that she is with the right person. Dale is a former Navy Seal who is brave, serious and level headed but when it came to Gin, he had no idea what he was doing. I felt bad for him every time he tried to talk to her about his feelings because he just couldn’t do it, even though in his heart he knew how he felt. Dale trusts Gin with his life and their friendship means everything to him but he definitely needs to man up and find the words necessary to win her heart. He cannot be closed up and silent with Gin because if he waits too long, someone else could take his place and he will lose her forever. Dale will follow Gin anywhere to win her back because she is his life and his forever.

This is definitely my favourite of the series so far. I got into this one quite quickly and really liked the main characters. I loved Gin, she seems like a lot of fun. Dale has that strong silent thing going on for him and it seems to off worked up to this point but now he’s got to step out of his comfort zone and step up to be what Gin needs. There is a lot of miscommunication in this book between Gin and Dale and I did start to get abit frustrated by it, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. They had really strong chemistry and I liked how Gin could read between the lines with Dale once she decided to look at their situation through fresh eyes. His stoic silence really didn’t help his cause. He’s a great character though, I really like when the hero is so loyal and faithful.
