In a small town, the mice build an impressive library. Animals small and large enjoy story time and other services. One day, however, some rats come and end up damaging a number of the most valuable books. The rats come up with an ingenious plan to replace the treasures they destroyed. Information on famous historical libraries is presented at the end of the story.
